My Fave Disposable (Reusable!) Razor -- More Environmentally Friendly Than Brand-X
Short of just growing a full-on beard, and other than using a straight razor (O brave one!) these are the most environmentally-friendly disposable razors you can get.I've been using Fusion5 razors for quite a number of years -- basically since they came out in 2006-ish, so that's nearly 18 years -- and here's why:These are VERY long-lasting disposable razors. I suppose if you have very coarse, hefty facial hair, you won't get the same results as mine, but in all honesty, I can use the same razor for months, not just one month, but several -- probably 3. My shaving habits have changed around over the years. Some years I was completely shaved-face each and every day. Then I went with a goatee, then a full beard, only trimming my neck and doing general trimming on cheeks. Then back to naked face, then around and around we go. But I've always stuck with what's worked for me. Sure they're more expensive but that's because they're BETTER than all of the others. I mean the Mach3 is rather good, but not as good IMHO as Fusion5.This little kit is nice because you get the ergonomic, hefty, balanced handle, and 4 blade refills. I've had to laugh at the numerous reviews that complain that there's only 4 refills when the package actually SAYS it's got 4 refills ... they complain about the image on the packaging as having a refill in it, but what do they expect ... an image of the handle with no blade cartridge? My oh my. The complaint is that it's "false advertisement" and "not the value expressed", and that sort of thing. But no matter even if there was a secret extra refill in the package, it's still a better bargain than the cheapo brands. For those of you saying "They're too expensive" -- Let's just do some math:I just found one cheapo brand that has a 144-count box of twin-blade razors, with cheap, hollow, plastic non-balanced handles, that cost $26.49. No one in his right mind is gonna use these razors more than once, am I right? So that's 144, divided by 30 days is 4.8 months. So nearly 5 months of meh-to-okay shaving, with at least a nick or two each session. Am I wrong here? You know I'm not.The Fusion5 razors, with the very conservative 1 month of use, balanced handle, 5 blades for a super close and smooth shave, with virtually zero nicks (unless you're being unreasonably rushed and sloppy, or if you've lost the smoothness of locomotion and for this I feel for you, brother) is just behind with a solid 4 months of shaves vs the 4.8 months with the cheapos. But the next time you don't even need to purchase the handle, and you can get 8 more refills (that's at least 8 months of shaves!) for $30. So add that to the $20 for the starter kit of 4-and-a-handle and you've spent $50 on a full year's worth of fine shaving. With me so far?For the cheapo razors, at 4.8 months, you must purchase 2.5 cartons of 144 to get the same number of shaves. Only you can't purchase half cartons, and you therefore must purchase 3 at $26.49 each. That's a grand total of $79.47 vs $50 for the Fusion5.It's a no-brainer! .... Anyway ...These are also great for shaving your private parts. I did that for a few months, and it really feels good, but it's a lot of maintenance, and I'm a fairly low-maintenance guy. But while I did, I can remember only nicking myself "down there" once using the Fushion5. And it wasn't a big deal at all.Take care of your face (and your private place). It's the only one you've got. Use Fusion5, dude.

Smooth and Comfortable Shave Every Time
I’ve been using the Gillette Fusion5 Razors for Men for a while now, and they’ve definitely improved my shaving experience. The razor provides a close, smooth shave without any irritation, and the 4-blade refills ensure a precise cut with each pass. The Lubrastrip is a great addition—it adds a layer of comfort and glide, making the shave even more comfortable, especially around sensitive areas. The razor handle feels sturdy and ergonomic, making it easy to control. I also appreciate how durable the blades are; they last much longer than other razors I’ve used in the past. Overall, this set is an excellent value, providing both quality and comfort for every shave. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high-performance razor.

Love this Razor!
I’ve been using the Gillette Fusion5 for a bit now, and it works really well. The shave is super smooth and doesn’t leave my skin feeling irritated. The Lubrastrip makes a big difference too—feels nice and helps the razor glide better. The handle has a good grip, even when wet, and the blade refills last longer than I thought they would. Overall, solid razor. Definitely recommend it if you want something easy and dependable.

Pretty Good
I was surprised about the 5 razor blades vs the 3 from the mach 3. Really does seem to do a better job of being able to clear the facial hair that's shaved off when ran under running water. Works well dry or wet shave but I find the lubricant to be excessive to the point of almost annoying vs the Mach 3 razors. All that extra lubricant can make stray hairs get missed if you don't check feeling with your hand and then require you to run the razor from a different angle cause it's so lubricated to the point of not "shaving". It does a good job of not cutting you with how the razor can bend and fold over various areas and angles but it can feel a bit awkward initially. My biggest annoyance and problem is the plastic cover guard that razors used to come with are not available for at least to my knowledge, this particular product. Very, very annoying just having open razor blades for little to no reason.

The Best a Man Can Get – Gillette Razor Refills
I’ve tried plenty of razor refills over the years, but Gillette keeps proving why they’re the best. These refills deliver a close, smooth shave every single time without irritation or nicks. The blades stay sharp longer than most others I’ve used, which means fewer replacements and a better shave each morning. The lubrication strip really makes a difference, helping the razor glide effortlessly over skin.Whether you’re prepping for a big meeting or just want that clean, confident look every day, these refills have got you covered. Hands down, the best a man can get.

So Smooth, I Almost Married Him Twice
Look, I don’t know what kind of wizardry Gillette puts in these Fusion5 razors, but my husband’s face feels like a baby dolphin every time he shaves. Seriously — smooth, soft, no nicks, no weird patches of hair. It’s like the razor knows it’s on a mission to keep my man looking sharp. Also, shoutout to Amazon for having the best prices on these bad boys. Unless you stumble upon some once-in-a-lifetime clearance deal at a random store in the middle of nowhere, this is the place to get them. Trust me, I’ve checked.Bottom line: Great quality, clean shave, and I get to keep falling in love with his fresh face. Highly recommend—unless you prefer your man to look like a grizzly bear. Your call.
