Q: Can this run through an ethernet switch like the lkv373 can? can you use multiple receivers for one sender if you use an ethernet switch?

sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I can tell you I hooked the Pro version like this to my Dtv. the hdmi out to the tv next to it. the Cat 6 (don't use cat 5) to a cat splitter, and then ran 2 Cat 6 cables 100 ft to different recievers and it worked great. I have main tv with dtv and sender on patio, and then a tv by the pool and another by the hot tub, and run the same signal so I can be in any of the 3 locations and watch tv. Long answer yes to multiple recievers with 1 sender just need to buy it twice, unsure on switch but because I bought just a Cat 6 splitter, I'm sure that should work as well.

I have, I think the issue could be the resolution. Restarting them while the main TV is off solves the problem for a while.

Initially I had a cat 5 run that was around 150 feet, it ran through conduit to a secondary building. I later upgraded this wire to cat 6 but not for any reason other than I changed and expanded the entire house.I am thinking it will work fine, but will most likely depend on how much interference the line encounters between the source and the destination.If there is little electrical conflicts and not bad bends in the wire it will probably be fine.I have around 20 of these devices working in my house and the device is very reliable.
