LaserSmith Thread Spool Bobbin Storage Holder - Holds Up to 98 Reels of thread

This came unassembled but putting it together was simple - we just needed to supply wood glue. I now have cotton reels of various sizes all out of sight and well organised. It fits my kallax perfectly with just a little wiggle room.I don't need a second one, but it would be good if they did something like this but with optional 'insides'.I'm delighted. Five stars in every way.

I love, love, love this bobbin holder! It’s been sooo super useful. I do a lot of sewing using lots of different coloured threads and they used to live in my sewing box and enjoy unraveling themselves..much to my annoyance. Finally when I’d spent an hour winding them back up for the umpteenth time I decided it was time to search for a solution. Anyway I came across this and decided to give it a try. It comes flat pack so you need to glue it with some wood glue along the sides and back and I also glued in the dowels. I left it overnight to dry. It feels really sturdy and the shelves slide out easily. It’s just big enough to take all my cotton reels and it holds every size reel I possess..brilliant. It’s made of mdf so you are also able to decorate it however you want. I covered it with felt in my own choice of theme but you can paint it, use decoupage, glue on pretty paper or stencil it or leave it plain. I believe you can also buy a unit into which it fits however I’m happy with it just the way it is. There is no front cover so by using a felt flap I find it keeps my cotton reels clean. This was one of my best and most useful purchases ever plus I enjoyed decorating it. Win win.

This item arrived the next day flat packed. Once put together and glued I filled the pegs with cotton reels. Beware of the size though as not all cotton reels will fit.

the pegs are insecure and it doesn't take all sizes of spools. Bought this but a bit disappointed, as it is not as sturdy as I expected, would have sent it back but my husband had thrown away the packaging. Needs glueing together to make it sturdy.

This is exactly what I needed. I've reorganized my sewing room and bought this to tidy up all my threads. It works brilliantly. Fits perfectly into my kallax storage unit and the shelves slide so perfectly. Thoroughly recommended.10 stars if I could !

This is a great idea but completely useless. The dowels do not go into the holes deep enough so they fall out, even with gluing in place the6 fall out. Also it isn’t tall enough to hold a spool of thread. Not enough dowels to fit every hole. Don’t waste your money. Load of c**p.

This has revolutionised my bobbin storage. They’re now all accessible and not tangled up in a messy drawer. I 100% recommend this. Even the glueing and hammering putting it together was therapeutic. 😂 Don’t think you can get away without wood glue - it absolutely must be glued. Delivery was super fast too. Oh, and it’s not plastic.🌟

Bought this item as storage for my thread.It doesn’t come assembled and the pieces don’t fit together easily, not totally stable once constructed.Example: you have to fit all the dowel in the holes- I use a hammer to help but the holes are small and a lot of the dowel doesn’t fit well.The instructions are minimal.
