Bought this kit to install a snap on my wife's purse. The shoulder strap end was so long that it would drag on the ground if she held the purse by the carry handles. So placing one snap at the end of the strap did the trick. Holds the straps against each other.GOOD:The instructions are very simple to follow and stay in the nice container that all of the snap pieces are in, along with the tools. Six different colors and the bronze was a good match to the hardware on her purse. Anvil and install tools easy to use and are also stored in the container.NOT SO GOOD:The punch tool was not useful. Not sharp enough to cut through leather. But not enough to remove a star in the rating. I just used a leather punch that I had on hand. I used a piece of vinyl on top of the anvil when punching so as not to dull the punch.

These snaps worked great so far.It was the 3rd brand I triedMy grand daughter was in tears over others that didn’t work correctlyAnd were damaging her hard work

Well first of all the plastic case the snaps came in was busted in 2 places second of all the hollow punch it came with had a very hard time trying to get a simple hole in thin leather I had to use one of my other hollow punch to make the hole so this set could of been a lot better I just don't see all the hype on good reviews I think the set is cheap.

Easy to follow directions. Just pay attention to them and the designs on each piece. Works perfectly. I'm so glad I bought it.
