Love love love this stuff. I can do my eyebrows so fast when I have this version of the ELF eyebrow pencil. I have pretty good pretty full eyebrows that may not need a ton of filling etc so I do want to state that. So for me w a good amount of eyebrow hair it’s amazing and I loooove it. It doesn’t….idk how to explain it but the difference btwn this n other pencils is for me, this stuff doesn’t literally draw on my skin…i don’t want that. I want natural looking full eyebrows.I gently move it up in the direction of hair ((**gently)) so as not to draw on my skin, just go w strokes up n apply in direction of my eyebrow hair- & it literally like grabs the hair and just builds on them so it looks so natural and not penciled in. If u need to fill in the top or bottom edge just move in side to side directions but try to grab the hair more than skin….? Does this make sense? When I use this stuff I still see skin and space btwn hairs… that’s key for me. As I have gotten older and haven’t touched my eyebrows, the hair seems to at times…disappear lol idk it’s frustrating so while I don’t want to freak out those young lady’s but I turned 40 and literally when I woke up on my 40th I looked in the mirror, & I saw that a teeny lil spot of like 3 hairs went n walked out on me. Bastards. So I have had this lil spot that maybe no one else wld even notice but it’s so obvious for me lol it drives me nutsI personally hate when the pencil fills it ALL in and the eyebrows just become darker n just clearly and obviously drawn n filled in etc.This stuff truly makes ur eyebrows look full and complete while still leaving the space btwn the tiny hairs pencil free so it appears that u just have awesome eyebrows….and THAT is the diff to me btwn this and other eyebrow pencils. . . Hope i did an ok job explaining it…. bc u won’t regret buying these. And ummmm can u beat the price???? Not that I’ve found! They r basically free compared to what other brands charge for their eyebrow pencils etc.Give this a shot. If u don’t like it…. Well u gave it a shot and spent less than what u pay for a coffee every day!! And if u looove it….?? Well. . . Ur welcome ;) U now have natural looking beautiful full waterproof eyebrows!((I ordered the wrong color ((ugh)) but will be reordering the right ones now bc I neeeeed my waterproof lifting Elf eyebrow pencil asap n they haven’t had it at my local CVS!!))

When my hair went gray-streaked medium brown and my brows began to thin, I struggled to find the proper color in an eyebrow pencil. I tried this one in "blond," which seems counterintuitive, but the e.l.f. blond is closer to taupe than the orange-y blonde of other brands. They also make a taupe, which I found too dark. The texture is creamy enough to apply evenly but not so creamy that it applies too heavily. The spoolie brushes and blends beautifully, and the finished brow looks natural. A real winner in color and product quality. I especially like that this is a twist-up pencil rather than the wasteful ones that you have to sharpen. I notice Amazon indicated I also bought the grey pencil, which I did, but their version of gray was charcoal-gray and looked too dark on me since my hair is medium brown-streaked gray rather than black-streaked.

I've used this e.l.f. eyebrow pencil for years, and find it comparable to or even better than more expensive brands like Benefit, Anastasia, ILIA, etc. The staying power and blendability is excellent. I find that these run slightly on the dark side. For years, I used the Taupe shade (I'm a natural dark blonde/bronde with ash blonde highlights), thinking that the Blonde would be too warm, but it's actually perfect. Don't sleep on these eyebrow pencils!

Fairly dark considering this is BLONDE. I have medium brown hair and it's almost too dark for me. It went on pretty smoothly, no chunkiness or crumbling. The tip does not stay sharp after first use, is not good for detailing, thin brows, or brow ends that need a thin precise line.Updated review. OMG... it really IS waterproof! I have oily skin, and rarely find that "waterproof" items stay on my skin. I just tried to wash this off with my Cetaphil face soap and it is NOT budging. I even scrubbed hard! BRB, gotta run to the drug store to get makeup remover lol 😆. If the tip would just stay sharp this would be my dream brow pencil.

I can always count on Amazon selling Elf products. I have used many brow pencil brands and Elf is by far the best. It stays on ALL DAY because its waterproof and it comes in a few different shades. I especially like the fine-tip which allows you to shape, fill and define your eyebrows.

Let me just say, impressed. Completely withstood a day at holiday world splash and safari (amusement park with water park) and unexpected 2 hr rain. All at the same time! Imagine my shock when not only were my brows still perfectly lined, but there was no running no smudging no color transfer. I'm so so thrilled with this brow pencil.

I'm giving it 3 stars because it's budgeproof and waterproof, but that's kind of where the good stuff ends. You've got to blend it out really fast; otherwise, it just locks into place and won’t move. But if you blend it too quickly, it disappears! It also tends to clump and stick to brow hairs, and you can't really build it up at all.

Does what it is suppose to do. Inexpensive. More importantly one of the few products that offer the color gray. I have white hair so this gives me a more natural look than when I use to try other color shades. My eyebrows are a combination of white/gray/brown. Product covers the brown and gives depth to the rest.
