Very good option. Very crisp.
The quality of this microphone is amazing. I upgraded from a hyperx quadcast. And all of my friends agree that this mic sounds a lot more crisp. It's really easy to use, the setup is a USB cord that plugs right into the back. The steelseries app is very easy to use and it fits on the desk with no problem.

Noise Cancellation King: My SteelSeries Alias Experience
I hate headphones, so I have always preferred a mic. The noise cancellation is impressive. I typically listen to music at about 70 dB, and the mic hears me clearly. The software thoroughly filters out the music and ambient noise to the point that I hear nothing but my own voice. The build quality is sleek and modern, with just enough RGB to not be excessive. It is pretty much plug and play to set it up, so it is very easy to set up and use, plug in, and the software download is simple. I would say the mic itself isn't going to print out a symphony, but to normal ears like mine, it's better than enough to get the job done for a gamer. Overall, I got it for a discount of $150, which I think is a good price for it. Normal pricing seems worth it too, if you consider the extraordinary software that is free to download, you technically don't even need the hardware to use the software.

Best Mic I’ve had.
I personally love this mic. The quality of my microphone is top notch. Plus with the desktop app you can adjust the way you sound via the settings which makes it super convenient. The app is a little strange at times but overall the experience is the best.

Why no locking grooves?
The mic and stand feel really solid. Nice heavy metal. I'm new to mics, but I think it's cool how the mic is suspended with the cords. Allows for the use with a boom arm and says can function properly when tilted sideways... just curious why the stand it comes with does not offer that feature to turn sideways, only tilts upwards and downwards. I also really don't like how the tightening bolt in the back does not have any grooves or teeth that hold the mic at the position you're trying to set it at. I just set this up for the first time and I feel like I have to really crank on the tightening screw so it doesn't fall. Even so, one slight bump and it's moved, because the interface is smooth bare metal. I'll have to add something there to give it some sort of friction or make my own grooves with some glue or something... feels like that's a problem I should have to worry about for a $30 mic.

Love this mic
I love this mic it has great sound quality and was very easy to set up. I use it anytime I play the game now and all my friends say I sound a lot better using this than when I used a headset with a mic.

Good intermediate microphone
This is great when using the steel series app. I was able to tune this to my liking with relative ease.

Very professional microphone
I am a low end streamer, my last mic I had was a blue yeti and although that is a good microphone it is not ideal for streaming. But I had recently upgraded my headset last year to a steal series microphone and I was surprised and delighted by the quality of not only the headset but the actual headset microphone. And when I received this microphone I wasnt shocked by how good the quality was, how well it worked with other streaming programs and more.If you are a low to mid teir streamer like myself this will be the best budget microphone for you.

Best Gaming Desk Mic:
Steel Series has done it again. I bought this to pair with my gamebuds and the quality and ease of use are top tier. Best desk microphone I've ever used. It's crystal clear when I speak and using the Steel Series Sonar app is a must for it. I love the big red "X" that appears on the microphone letting me know I'm muted.
