After some issues getting it configured, support sent me a new instruction sheet with a valid url for images that helped my get it going. Working good. On a net already tonight after I got it today.

Haven’t tested the output power yet but I have been running it non-stop since I got it and it has been working flawlessly.

The first one of these i bought had issues connecting to a pi and staying connected,once connected it would loose it occasionally because of a weak usb cable not making good contact with the ports on the back of the hihat. The first one i got had Green operating lights and the new one there Red, not sure why that is maybe they ran out of Green ones i don't know but it works so we'll see how it goes.

I had an Allstar node with a TYT 9000D and it was constant problems. It finally stopped receiving audio and I keep having issues with the RIM Alinco board.I purchased this device, tuned it to my frequency, plugged it into my Raspberry Pi did a little settings adjustment and it works great. I was having issues with the Rim version decoding dtmf tones and using the radio keypad to connect to different nodes but not with this device.The bad, no instructions other than to join the Shari node group on groups io and they don't provide much support since it isn't their product. They also have a topic on the differences between their product and the Aursinc product.I haven't had any issues with this product, I basically just tuned it, plugged it in and made a few adjustments and it is working better than my previous node. I gave it 4 stars due to a lack of support from Aursinc but if you have a bit of knowledge on how the Shari nodes work it isn't a big issue.Edit: After being in use for just over 3 months it is now constantly keying up on the allstar network. It is unusable any more. Buyer beware!

The windows frequency setup included did not work. Request the manual.pdf file to set up frequency with a rasp pi, its an extra step but it works great after the frequency setup

Loaded hamvoip onto a Pi3 and the radio transmits ok but will not RX audio or dtmf tones. Tried the tuning utility adjusting all RX options and still fails to receive my HT audio. It does detect carrier, COS works. Tried 3 different HTs. Fail. I'm disappointed with this shari usb device. I have a Aursinc pi-star hat that works fine.Update: I must say Aursinc customer service was stellar. The sent me a replacement Shari pi hat USB quickly. Unfortunately I was still unable to get it running with similar issues and the return window was closing. I had high hopes as the mechanical fit was perfect. I have a Aursinc pi-star mmdvm and Nano VNA that have been working fine. I may try an Aursinc Shari node again later as they are adding new builds often.
