I finally retired my dash mounted holder since it kept falling every other day from the heat, it lasted a few years and I didn’t mind resticking it occasionally at first but it got worse over time. I am loving this new holder so much! The old one would grab on with arms and charge my phone, so I do miss the charging feature but I like the magnetic hold even more and I actually like that if I take off the phone temporarily then my cable is still plugged in and I don’t have to pause charging. It adjusts more smoothly than the old one and doesn’t sag over time and need to be retightened. The magnet did hold my iPhone directly but a little bump would make it fall, so I stuck the magnetic circle on that it came with and it holds STRONG! It doesn’t move a millimeter during bumps. The magnetic circle itself is unobtrusive and so far is staying on my phone solidly. This holder is smaller and is whisper quiet, my old one would rattle and was very annoying. Great deal for what I wanted and very glad I went with this one after going through the reviews!

Whoever came up with this, is a genius. One of those ideas that makes you wonder how you've never thought of it yourself.You have options on how you want to use the magnet. Either on an air vent(with vent clip) or on a flat surface(with a sticky pad). For me, the vents just weren't an option with where they are. So I was thankful for an alternative. I've been using this now for 5-6 months and it has never fallen off or came loose. It's super easy to set up, its not big and bulky like all your other phone holders. My favorite part is I can have the screen face me while I'm driving or I can adjust it to face me while I'm the passenger.

I’ve tried so many car chargers that ultimately would just fall to the floor without having to use the adhesive feature. I prefer using the air vents, which this works well perfectly, especially allowing the air to flow through.The swivel feature is also not flimsy and keeps the phone in place.They do provide adhesive for the dashboard if you don’t want to go the air vent route.I did have to add the magnetic sticker provided to my phone as without it, the phone wasn’t attaching as strongly. For reference, I have an I-phone 15 plus with a protective case.I did also find another one with the same feature but charges as well without having to pull out a charging cable from your phone, will review that when it’s delivered, but I like this particular product as I don’t always need to have my phone charged.Getting more for our household!
