We bought these hazelnuts primarily for our squirrel and chipmunk friends; they highly approve. They taste great, though, and are very clean and fresh. Even though the bag is a little pricey, the nuts are small and last quite a while when you're only using a handful or so a day.

I was concerned about the size because of the negative comments but Im satisfied. Tasty and big nuts.

Unbelievable! My squirrel babies LOVE these! Super fresh. Plump. I have one named Troops who would only eat walnuts in the shell. Well, not anymore! He literally pushed the walnut away and took the hazelnut with a look on his face like, “Really?! Why have you been holding out on me?! DELICIOUS!”These are also a very good value. Will buy again and again!

This was the first time purchasing hazelnuts from this Farm Fresh Nuts. The nuts do have a good flavor and came in a zip lock bag. They were not as fresh as nuts that I usually order every year from another supplier.I will try again next year though.

I purchased these filberts to use in a German Christmas cookie recipe. I wanted to be sure that the nuts were fresh and not rancid. So far, they have met my expectations! I'm writing this having only opened the package and tasted two filberts. If I find any that seem stale or rancid, I'll be sure to amend my review! Thanks for the prompt service!

I have bought different brands of filberts/hazelnuts from Amazon. In this brand's bag, the majority of the nuts are very, very small and a good portion of the nuts are cracked, making the nut inside stale. I haven't run across this in the other brands I've purchased so I won't purchase this one again. On the plus side, the bag is definitely stuffed full.

This was perfect for a particular squirrel in my back yard! Unfortunately, he loves them so much that he's waiting right by our back storm door every morning. I have my limits!
