Very soft and scratch proof flexible material and very compactly covers the edges safely.Very brilliant design to bring the Pencil-holder right side. Because my Old IPad Case was keeping the pencil with left side of the IPad since Volume up-down buttons were in right side, extending the space to hold the pencil was not possible. I had to take the pencil and stick in right side to get charged. That was the bad idea since the pencil may fall and get damaged.But, this new one has button handling mechanism inside (see the picture) the right side extended space for keeping the pencil so pencil is stored while charging.This is absolutely brilliant product and perfect protection for my iPad.

It's allright. Decent for short term. Good for the price. But if you have higher budget there are many greater ones out there.

The colour is not exactly lavender purplish , it is kind of greyish purple

I bought this a while ago. The ONLY ….literally the ONLY purpose it serves is that of being a ‘protection’ for my iPad in case it falls! I can no longer use ANY OTHER FUNCTION of my iPad which are on the edges of the iPad - e.g. the volume control, ‘screen lock’, none of them - not unless I take tha part of the jacket off!The button on the jacket doesn’t sync with the corresponding iPad button, at all. For instance, you can keep pressing the volume control on the jacket and NOTHING will change with the volume, absolutely nothing! So then, I have to take the jacket off the iPad to adjust the volume and when I do THAT, guess what - the iPad will get locked! So now each time I need to do anything with the volume, I have to keep unlocking the iPad! Whether you take the jacket off or put it on, it locks the screen. That’s the only thing it does for sure. So, all you keep doing is punching in the pin repeatedly, unnecessarily. Takes away the pleasure in using the iPad. An exasperating purchase. Need to replace it with a better one.
