If this isn't the Holy Grail it's as close as you'll get
This is the third in a series of three books on investing by RV Chaves. I bought it because I want to retire and my pension isn’t enough to live on so I am looking for a way to boost my income before I blow all my savings. The first book in the series, Trading & Investing For Beginners, gives you a good grounding in investing in a wide range of markets and doing so in such a way that with a lot of effort and a lot of discipline, you can make a decent living from investing, or at least pay the bills. The second book takes us into the heart of the Wykoff Methodology, which is the author’s special area of expertise. Richard Wykoff was a trader in New York who died in 1934. Nearly a century ago he developed a system whereby the small retail trader could track what the big players – the market movers – are doing and copy them. This third book gives us an overview of the markets today. It then gives a detailed description of how to combine volume and order flow analysis with the author’s updated take on Wykoff, which he calls Wykoff 2.0. The author then shows you how to build your own trading strategy based on these tools. This book has a lot of complicated information and unless you’re already familiar with the markets, it is worth reading the first two books in the series before you tackle this one. I have to say that the book is self-published, which means that some of the graphs and tables are not very clear, especially the tables, which I suspect were originally in colour but are printed in monochrome. It is best to read the book through once to understand the contents, then use it with books one and two to develop your trading strategy and – very important this – your trading journal.I recommend this book and the others in the series because for about sixty-five quid you are getting a training course that others are charging four figures for.

Recommended reading
Excellent. A little more on Weiss would have good. English is not Rubens first language and occasionally up shows but overall very good.

great content
Great content especially with regards the market structure. The text needs quite a bit of editing and I hope the author considers that for future editions. That however does not detract from the high quality content.

Excellent addition to Wyckoff/VSA methodologies
Having been an on/off student of Tom Williams and VSA since 1989, I found Ruben's Wyckoff work and in particular his explanations of Volume Profile a powerful addition to my trade entry points. I am primarily a long term investor in trusts and ETF's and have now incorporated Volume Profile into my SharePad analytic tools which identify Wyckoff/VSA tests and shakeouts before trends develop. In summary, no Wyckoff/VSA trader should be without Ruben's books.

Awful writing
I had to return this book because the spelling errors and proof reading of the book have been absolutely awful. Full sentences written without a space between the words, a lot of spelling errors as well as the book itself making 0 sense in some areas. It has been awful to read and quite frankly it did not make much sense in a lot of areas. This is not advanced information but rather a cluster of words, badly written and making very little to no sense. This is not a course at book price. It fails at being a book, let alone a course.Book has been returned and exchanged for "Mind Over Markets". A much better choice.

Badly written and therefore difficult to follow
The book reads like it was translated using a robot. Whilst the concepts being described are complex the author chooses what I consider to be inappropriate phrases that further complicate the description. I would suggest it’s needs a re-edit by a person with English as their first language.
