I bought this same starter twice in the last two years. I was building a bike and used the first one literally 4 times and it stopped working. I thought it was the battery so I bought a better one and it still didn't work so I ordered another one thinking it was just a bad one. The other literally only started my bike maybe 18 times and now it's not working again. I've bought another battery, gotten thicker wires/cables, double checked my terminals and connections, added more grounds, and bought a charger for the battery and it just clicked. I've spent almost 400 bucks on both started and almost that on the other stuff at this point. I might as well have spent that money on a good one in the begging

The starter I received was definitely a powerful unit starting my Harley 88 just as one would expect of a top dollar "high torque" unit sold these days !!! Don't let them get you brother!!!

I got this starter to replace the one in my 2005 Harley Fatboy...exact fitment plus its all chrome! I'm happy with this purchase!

The starter it's self works great but I had to take it apart to replace the shaft that the jack shaft bolt screws into. On the new starter the shaft did not have enough threads. Other then that pain in the ass part it works great.
