HSU Aluminum Alloy Extension Arm Mount for GoPro, Same Direction Straight Joints Mount for Hero 13/12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5 and Other Action Cameras(Black)

I bought this to increase the distance, and hence eliminate interference, between my GoPro and GPS cycling computer under an outfront mount on a road bike.Solid unit, machined to decent tolerances and finish. Screw retains lock when tightened with fingers.The articulated bar was supplied with a plastic spanner to torque up the GopPro screw handles to further prevent loosening by vibration. (Inclusion of a second screw would have been appreciated.)I have not had any issues with it over a thousand kilometres of cycling, including a crash. Bike computer display now shows stable readings.Reasonably good value for money and successfully achieves the intended purpose.

I bought this kit to use with my chin mount on my helmet as I wasn't getting the correct angle I needed when riding. This fits perfectly and gives the flexibility to move the camera more. The quality is great being made from aluminium, I would recommend this product for gopro or other cameras. Many thanks.

Arrived the day after I placed my order.Alloy arms are pretty well machined. They appear to be lightweight and strong.Tolerance and fit with gropro accessories acceptable.Untested as yet.

I ride a motorcycle to work every weekday 40 miles a direction, 80 a day, and having a GoPro mounted to my helmet is essential to my peace of mind; and for funny clips and supercar spotting of course.I keep breaking the plastic clips and swivels and what-not so I thought if I could find metal variants of the same sized mounts, they shouldn't break. Wishful thinking, however the problem with these metal mounts is that they have no friction with the plastic GoPro case nor the plastic sticky-mount on my helmet.Even at maximum tightness, they still slip. And this is simply because the plastic doesn't have much friction with the metal mount. I can't find metal versions of the two remaining plastic mounts so I'm stuck using the normal, kinda fragile and kinda expensive plastic mounts.In summary, the product is a great idea however even at max tightness, the joints slip and don't remain where they are set because the metal doesn't have friction with the other plastic parts in my GoPro setup.If I can find other metal mounts that will work with these joints, I will happily come back and give 5 stars because apart from the issues with slipping, these look great and are very sturdy.

Well constructed, and an excellent fit. Did exactly what I wanted.

I used a single arm to extend my chin mount - GoPro for my helmet as I wasn't getting the right angle needed. Ideal, lightweight and easy to use - recommended if you're in the need of the same!
