It Sucks!!
Like literally sucks to surface and won't budge!! Used on kitchen stainless steel walls and can hold 5 gallon water jugs. Would test for heavier item in the future. Very reliable and easily detaches for cleaning and sanitizing.

Man does this thing SUCK, in a good way!
I have used these suction fasteners on several camping trips to hang my projector screen to the side of my camper when watching movies. It has worked great. The D-Rings are robust and the 4 combined, hold the weight great. As with any suction cup the surface you stick them to has to be flat and clean but once they are, these babies lock on!

The original suction cups never stayed more than a week. These stay for months at a time, I do need to re-suction them eventually and clean my windows. But they withstand my cat jumping in and out on a daily basis and her hours of cat tv :)

Didn’t work for my purpose
I wanted to use this to hang a 40in wreath on the outside of a large picture window for the holiday. Other reviews suggested this would work but it don’t for us. Yes, we cleaned the surface and tried installing several times. At one point we needed to head to the hardware store and left the one we managed to stick on there. Within the 45 min we were gone the thing fell off.This may work great for other purposes but did not work for what we needed it to do. Returned the item

A very strong and secure anchoring devise
I purchased these suction cups to replace the ones that came with a portable canopy for my camper van. I use them to tether and anchor the ropes for the canopy to the sides of the vehicle and these are sturdy and have have great adhesion to the metal. they stand up to high wind loads ... yet are easy to remove when breaking camp.

They stick periodically when they want to, but they are so heavy that they tend to come unattached
