Does what it claims. It works very well.

It actually did work so I could drink A1 milk without protein 67's histidine causing gut problems but I should have taken 2 pills or not so much A1 milk. I'll keep it o.n hand

I thought I had lactose intolerance but it turns out it is the dairy proteins I am allergic to. People think, oh big deal have a little diarrhea, but oh no, it is full on viral style cramping and pain followed by diarrhea and more pain. If Starbucks accidentally puts milk instead of almond milk in my iced coffee it ruins my day. So, this tablet saves me, immediately if I feel something I take and it resolves. Ideally you would take prior to but since I avoid all dairy I really only use these for whoopsies. Like having a sauce that says no dairy but uh oh it has cream ( which is dairy).I keep one at home and one in my purse. The amount I take varies as it says in the instructions but an example would be if I intentionally ate a bowl of cereal with real milk I would take 2 before, 1 during and 1 after to resolve it. I don't do this but that is the best way to describe it. Basically it is giving me the enzyme to digest dairy, so you adjust how much you take by how much you are consuming. The first example of an iced coffee with milk, would only need 1-2 tabs. Anyways I rarely need them but it's great to have for emergencies.

When I need a bit of help digesting dairy, this is my go-to enzyme. I love the quality of Enzymedica products and take several others as needed including Lacto -- the pricier lactase supplement that includes other helpful digestive enyzmes. But Lacto is hard to find and very pricey; Dairy Digest is a more affordable alternative. I often pair with a Papaya enzyme for added digestive help. My husband has had gastric surgeries and needs more help, so he uses this in addition to their Digest Basic to help break down fats, proteins, and carbs in addition to lactose.

These definitely are a step above Lactaid.

I’ve become more lactose intolerant it seems. So I have removed dairy milk for the most part, but I eat a lot of cheese and even though I’ve started using oat milk creamer for coffee, I still need that little splash of half and half for better frothing and taste. I also drink milk based protein smoothies sometimes.Taking 1-2 in the morning can change my day from a day of nausea and stomach misery to normalcy. Because it’s hard to know how much of my diary consumption will be too much and send me into feeling badly. I combine it with their digest basic. I picked this brand/product after reading the amounts of the active ingredients like Lactase on several brands. This product appears to have a higher amount per pill. A lot of these supplements are tricky, like you would have to take 2-4 pills of one brand to get the same amount of product in 1 pill of another brand. Then those mcg and ACLUs for measurements can be confusing and misleading. I think I made the right choice with this product - 5,000 ALU of Lactase plus 12,500 “HUT” of Protease “therablend”, whatever that is.

No issues. Seems like a good product.

I have a pretty intense dairy sensitivity that doesn't respond to lactaid. I was told that's due to a dairy protein issue. So I gave up dairy for years with the occasional lapse (because hello, dairy is amazing). I stumbled upon this and it's been life changing. I don't regularly eat dairy out of habit, but I can now have queso or full dairy ice cream if I want without any issues. It's been a life changer and I recommend this product to all my dairy sensitive friends!
