It's made of particle board so by nature it's not going to take the weight of an elephant, but at this price point, it's a great sturdy piece of furniture. The hinges that hold the desk portion up are strong enough that I don't need to worry about them bending if I don't use them improperly. The space inside is pretty big. Enough room for whatever sundries one might want to keep in a coffee table. The only problem I had was that the smaller one is too small for my uses. So generally, probably get the bigger one. Other than that, it's a great piece of furniture.

I've had mine for about a year and a half and it's held up well, I use it regularly. Looks nice, it's worth the price, and the functionality of the raised part is easy and still sturdy after moderate use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve had it for a week now the only real issue is when I put my legs up on it. The edges are pretty sharp, but other than that it’s built relatively well for a cheap product. Opening and closing the storage area is all right. I’d try to upgrade the opening and closing system. And use a medium grade sandpaper to trim down the edges, but be careful since it’s made out of the cheap material.

Love this table! Took about 2 hours for 1 person to assemble. It’s very study and holds a decent amount of stuff. I love that table raises up, it’s great for eating food, or working on the couch, or even doing my nails while watching TV. You have to grab the front and back of the table to lift up, it’s not a one-handed action, but easy once you’re used to it. The table moves very smoothly, I’ve had drinks on it several times and they’ve never spilled. I like the storage area inside, I use it for extra pillows. Also like the little shelves to the side for the remote etc. I did get a little placemat to put on top because it gets water rings and scratches easily. The lags are sturdy and it’s tall enough to vacuum under. Overall very happy with it.

Love this table. No need to push it down it reclines by itself.

It’s actually A Lot darker than the picture, it’s a pain to put together, and it’s kinda boring looking once you’re done.. the little stickers they give you to cover screws don’t even match the “wood”. The pop up part is kind of hard to pull up as there is no lip or edge to the table. I’m not mad about buying it, but not really excited either. Glad I got it on sale

Would have given 5 stars if it would have had instructions that were written instead of poorly drawn illustration.
