Bought this as it appeared decent quality and not total disposable quality. I was delightful that it arrived and operated just as I had hoped. It's a good build quality that matches the price point. I have mine in my service cart and it's available to use as a start switch or any diagnostic switch with decent amperage ability - testing horns, bright lamps, etc.

Quite nice for the price.

This is a very good quality switch, far better than those cheapies at the auto parts store. I used it to test my '92 Cherokee and it functioned perfectly. The boots protecting the clips are thick and durable and the five foot cables are perfect. The instructions say to connect one of the lead clips to the large terminal on the solenoid that connects to the battery. The size of the clips and thickness of the protective boots make this difficult. It is far easier to connect that clip to the cable or clamp on the positive port of the battery itself and the five foot cable makes this possible and easy. This is a great item and I'm glad to have it in my tool box!

Product works as it should. Alligator clips are a bit chincy but overall pretty good.
