I was really sick of throwing away cheap solar lights (how does that help the environment?) so did a search of the best rated solar lights. Oh My Gosh. I have had the for close to a year. Even on cloudy days days they charge enough to run for several hours. On a sunny day (Portland, Oregon) they will run until 2 am.They are bright and look amazing. I cannot recommend them more highly and I have tried a LOT of solar lights. NOTE-I put one in the green house and one on the porch over the winter-I figured all that Oregon rain would quicken their demise. Happy to say they are still going strong!

These solar lanterns create the perfect ambiance for any evening. They provide ample light yet not so bright and overwhelming. They come ready to use and charge up very quickly. So far, I have four. Most likely I'll be getting a few more. Highly recommended!!

I gave these for a gift because I have already owned a pair for over a year and they are amazing!! So realistic my grandson was trying to blow the flame out!! :) I would highly recommend them.

I have purchased 14 of these lanterns during the last six years and the solar lights still flicker brightly. They continue to be my choice at Amazon and I just bought four more. Here is a tip: Outside the metal frame will rust out in about 3-4 years. (North Carolina -- not near ocean). Suggestion for the lanterns to last any more than 3-4 years. Before you hang the lights outsides coat the metal with a thin layer of JB-Weld Multipurpose putty or DAP patching compound then brush (not spray) paint over with Rust-Oleum, Professional, in oil base color of your choice, bright Black looks nice. (All the items listed available at Amazon). An American manufacturer would do similar at the factory.

These lights are fantastic, they actually last for about 5 years. I have 4 sets and bought them as gifts for family and friends. They are definitely worth the price.

Only gave four stars because one died after a couple of years. The second is still going strong and stays lit all night.

These quite honestly are incredible. I have had these lanterns hanging up outside my house year round for two years now. The lanterns have endured hard and cold winters in NE Wisconsin, yet continue to work perfectly. They have a realistic flickering flame that looks beautiful and even with short winter days, the solar powered lanterns work well. I have had many compliments on these lanterns and people have since purchased them for themselves.
