The media could not be loaded. I was surprised at how well this product went on. It applies almost as smoothly as regular interior paint. I will update this review after the lead inspection reveals whether it serves its intended purpose. For those complaining about how difficult it is to remove the collar around the paint lid, I urge you to research the neurological affects of lead exposure to understand why you might be having difficulty. Excellent product. Based on the reviews, I was worried this went on very thick, but the texture is that of regular paint. It’s amazingly quick to work with, and leaves surfaces smooth and even. If it weren’t so expensive to use it as a primer, I would use it regularly to prime unpainted surfaces!

Easy to paint with. Real thick. Smell is about the same as regular latex paint. This certainly adds a thick barrier between you and whatever is below.One thing I noticed is that this paint will allow wood tannins to come through so you might need a finishing coat. I didn’t bother having this tinted, but it does say tintable.

I’m a landlord and was granted approval to encapsulate areas in an apartment that tested positive for lead. After using this paint the company came back out to re-test and I passed! Highly recommend this product.

Opened the lid and it was separated and hardened! Couldn’t even mix it cause it was a big lump of paint. DO NOT BUY. ZERO STARS.

Paint seems high quality. Easy to mix, clear usage instructions, and not too bad on the smell during application. The reason for the lower rating is that, while I understand the distributor wanted to secure the can for transit, the plastic collar was a pain in the ___ to remove and had no guidance on how to do so. Once the collar was off, it was smooth sailing though.

This paint went on well, but I found out from the local health and sanitation inspector that it doesn't seal in lead. They were still about to get a lead reading even after 2 generous coats of this paint on the surfaces.

All three cans that I ordered were unusable. I had them shaken at the store before use but when I opened them they were nothing but giant lumps of paint.
