Definitely an older style mp3. But it works perfectly for my needs. The lock button is kind of weird, but the buttons aren't super touchy so it's not really needed anyway. You just have to push buttons twice to wake up the player first. A few things to keep in mind- The "M" button is kind of like the A button on a nintendo gaming system while the "vol" button is the B or back button. It has nothing to do with volume, there is two buttons on the sides for that. Putting music on the player requires dragging it into the file window the same way one might transfer files onto a USB. It will also use the file names as the song names. This wasn't a problem for me as my library is already configured that way and I'm used to doing that.The randomizer function works great, I haven't had any weird repeats. This product also has a speaker that can play music out loud when the headphones aren't plugged in. Found this out when I started hearing music out of nowhere and got really confused. Player turns off and on easily though just push and hold the lock button.Downsides: the "All songs menu" isn't partitioned alphabetically so expect a lot of scrolling if you want a specific song. Or look under album or artist-Don't expect help or a sensical instruction booklet. EVASA's text file/ moto is "Without music, life is a kind of regret, there is no love, life is a kind of excess." So expect some Engrish.-I've had a couple of times where it reset to a previous state. A couple of these happened when I booted up and one happened after the player took a small hit. Hasn't become annoying though so I view this as the exception more than the rule.-The play screen bars have no reason to exist. Like I'm not even sure it reflects the music. Not that you would stare at in anyway.That being said I've bought and dealt with several MP3's lately trying to replace my old walkman and this was the one that finally worked. Way better then the junk sony's selling these days. The case has that nice solid metallic feel, physical buttons.

Arrived on time. Quality seems very nice. The controls and menus are pretty typical. Had no problems getting it to work. The included earbuds surprised me. They are almost as good as my Skull Candy buds.I would highly recommend this player. It is well worth spending a couple bucks more for the quality. I'm hoping the battery lasts as long as advertised. If not I will update but so far it looks like it will.

This is a very nice dash cam and for the price, it is an excellent deal. I was slightly hesitant at first to buy this. But took the risk and purchased it. After 4 days of testing(today is day 5), I am really happy with the quality of this dash cam. It has all the necessary features that you need and works well. Go for it, if you are looking for a dependable product.

This is one powerful little music player. Even the headphones work great. The music fidelity is wonderful. This item that I received is actually a replacement for another music player from the same seller which stopped charging. The seller made good on their promise to replace a defective item within one year of purchase-essentially a one year warranty. EVASA is a seller with high integrity. Trust yourself safe with purchasing an item from them. Their customer service is excellent and prompt. I am very, very impressed!

Does the job as an mp3 player for a 5 and 7 yr old. They both really enjoy them! You are even able to record your voice so I was able to do some "audio books" for my sons trip to his grandparents. Not as user friendly for their 30 something parents who are use to apple ipods. The buttons look similar but do not do the same functions. Just be prepared, first time mp3 player users will be far better at using these.

This is a Christmas gift for my grandma, I opened it and tried it. The little player is very unexpected. Beautiful appearance and easy to use. Surprisingly, it's perfect for the price. I hope my grandma can use this gift happily.

This is a pretty decent little mp3. I bought it for my dog, Mohawk, who needed some meditation tunes and a FM radio. The FM radio is clear and so is the player.
