Glad I got this good solid old renewed computer. It's been working well since day 1.

For less than the price of a new Chromebook, you can have yourself a really decent laptop. For 5 years, I was a Director of IT & Marketing (solely responsible for the devices of a few hundred employees. That said, I've about seen it all, when it comes to computers. Most modern laptops and even desktops that you see on the shelves of retailers, are severely overpriced TRASH. I haven't thoroughly tested this particular laptop and I suspect that there are some cheapo parts (SSD etc) but for the price, there's not a whole lot of competition. The laptop I received looks practically new (aside from a few dust bunnies and key crumbs). The charger is scratched to hell but it works and isn't held together by tape (I've definitely seen that with a few refurbs). Battery seems to hold a decent charge. It does NOT have a Webcam (I personally don't want one but I missed that in the description so I figured it's noteworthy). It came well packaged! (Big selling point on cheap refurbs) Can't think of anything else but if I do, I'll add it to an edit!

Out of the box, the laptop seems 100% clean and new, with only minor wear on some of the stickers on the bottom. No scratches whatsoever on the body, screen or power adaptor.Out of the box the laptop is fast and snappy. It came with Win 10 pro presintalled, but I upgraded it to Win 11.The screen is ok, but a little too dim for my taste. It could definitely use a few more notches up on the brightness settings. The touchscreen works ok, but it can feel a little slugish at times.It has a medium sized touchpad which works fine and the buttons are still nice and clicky.One huge CON for me is that it DOES NOT have a backlit keyboard.Audio quality is also a minor Con, since it's pretty weak (something expected at this price range however).The chiclet style keyboard feels very nice, responsive and crisp. No complaits there whatsoever.I bought this keyword mainly as a backup work device.The nature of my work has me openning 20+ Google Chrome tabs at a time. Due to this reason, I upgraded the ram to 32gb of DDR4 3200. However, the bottle neck I now have is with the (weaker than expected) Core i5-8350U processor. It will constatly jump to 100% under Chrome multitasking.However, if you need a laptop for entertainment (videos, light gaming) or work (as long as it's not Chrome extensive applications) you'll be more than happy with the amount of value you get for your buck here.

I have been a customer of Dell for over fifteen years, yet this is the first refurbished Dell that I've purchased, and it has exceeded my expectations. This Dell performs better than the brand new models I've purchased in the past. I definitely took my time in making this choice, and, as a teacher, I needed my choice in computers to meet certain specifications. Dell is my preferred choice, yet I was cautious as I wasn't sure if a refurbished model would be as high quality. Honestly, I expected some glitches, but have found none. The processor is fast. I also have high speed Internet, but if a processor isn't fast, one can tell. I am able to seamlessly perform all tasks with ease. I was able to upgrade to Windows 11 for free, as well. The speakers and volume are excellent, as is the webcam and graphics, overall. If one is needing to conduct video meetings or lessons, this is your laptop. If you are a gamer, this is your laptop. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the charging cable was over 30 feet in length and the battery easily charged and maintains a charge easily. I am pleased not only with Dell, but with Amazon Renewed! I do recommend purchasing a protection plan. I opted foran Assurance Insurance plan and while I considered the two or four year plan, the cap amount insurance would cover annually for a repair is $200. I chose the $17 per monthplan that covers all Amazon purchased electronic products and will cover up to $2,000 annually. This may be a refurb, but you'd never know it, neither by its appearance nor its function. This laptop from the IT SUPPLY GUY works great and looks like new. I can't find a normal use blemish or scar anywhere. It runs great, too. Dell made a nice little laptop here, and this is a super deal for the money. I'm highly pleased and definitely recommend this machine and the IT SUPPLY GUY.

The media could not be loaded. Laptop came with the screen scratched right in the middle of it, the display itself was completely wobbly and felt like it was going to break off if I moved it the wrong way, the left side of the mouse was stuck or something and would not work correctly, was dirty and had crusty stuff all over it, laptop immediately started glitching during setup and to top it all off - it doesn’t even work if not plugged in.Immediately shuts off once unplugged.Orange light keeps flashing as it’s plugged in and battery states it’s plugged in and charged but still will not work once unplugged and stating it is at full charge.I do not have the time to attempt to troubleshoot anything on my own or wait for a replacement, as it’s refurbished to begin with so I got what I paid for I guess.Huge disappointment, waste of money and time, do not buy into these reviews for this refurbished trash. Simply needed a laptop for basic office work, nothing fancy and can’t even get that. Save your money, buy new and not off Amazon.

This laptop gets the job done. It's very fast for the price and everything else checks out. I can't think of any real negatives to mention. Only complain is I'm a little disappointed that I had to pay more for mine than the current listing price. Apparently it already dropped in price from $200.14 to $187.89. Guess I should have waited a little longer before buying.
