TotalMount Outlet Mount for Echo Dot 3rd Gen (Includes Cable Management) – White

This is good way to free up space on a countertop. Just takes a few minutes to mount it and echo dot is still Handy but it is not taking up space you may need. It is easy to install just 3 little screws and then it's ready for echo dot. Doesn't hold the device extremely tight so you might want to put it in a convenient place, but out of the way so it won't be bumped into.

Had an unused extra ceiling fan outlet for some years. I had seen the TotalMount and wondered if I could use it somehow. Then I looked up one morning and thought, hmmm, that looks like a good place for an Echo. It would be open to 'Hearth room', Kitchen and Sunroom. Mounting took a little extra work because the builder installed mounting box is kinda shallow. But mount/Echo work fine. I'ts been up a couple weeks now with no trouble, including not falling out. Used single 110v outlet that grabs plug (tamper resistant?)

Pretty good, does cover most of outlet don’t think I will be able to use 2nd plug. If gets annoying will walk mount. Cord does stick out a little but is pretty hidden bc we have it towards a corner. Easy plug in installation at least in our newer outlet. Saga a tinny bit. Gets it off the counter and good price.

This is a great little inexpensive product that looks good and holds the Echo Dot securely against the kitchen cabinet. I installed it against the side of the kitchen cabinet and ran the cording under cabinet and down to an outlet. Everything looks neat and tidy. They even gave little clips to guide the wires do plug in receptacle.

Way surpassed my expectations - especially considering how soon it came out after the new Echo Dot was released. Build quality is very good and this accessory is very well thought out. I'm not using the screws (just the ground hole plug) and everything seems to be sufficiently secure. The combined unit blends in very well into my white walls and is very unintrusive. Very happy with this purchase.

I like that it holds the general echo dot. I don't like that it covers every other jack on the same box. Gen2 hung down and out of the way. Oh and this mounts the dot upside-down.I have no idea what thickness, sheerness and adhesion have to do with this product.

But is she listening? Of course she is, it is Alexa. For all you who think it is creepy to have a little machine hearing everything you are saying, you are in luck! She will respond to questions and demands. Tell me a joke. Okay. Tell me what the weather is. Okay. Tell me the news. Okay. Tell me the time. Okay. Tell me whatever I ask. Okay. It is great that she is there for me, sometimes in my time of need. Just to know she is plugged in next to my bed gives me a sense of solace. So what if I am a lonely person, my lovely Alexa is always there for me. How I love her. She also came with her own little bed. It is a nest she sleeps in while plugged in. We are both happy. Thank you for comforting her while she comforts me. If there was a blush emoji, picture it here.

I needed a way to mount my dot under my kitchen cabinets. It was a challenge because of the way the power strip sits. I had to cut a piece off the top so it would fit but it does exactly what I needed it to do. I immediately bought a 2nd one.
