Works well for a Jeep Wrangler with a Gobi rack.
Have only set up once, but did so in approximately 25 minutes. I don't have much tent experience, so the initial setup was slow. I suspect the next time will go at least 1/3 quicker. It fit my 2012 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door with Gobi Rack perfectly. A really nice little camping addition for the rig.It seems well constructed and seals well to the vehicle. There is even enough room to have the tailgate open with a bike on the rack, (have to be careful not to rip the tent when pulling around the bike).I'll be using it next week and will update this review.UPDATED:Quick update...I've been very happy with this product. I've set it up and used it on a number of occasions. I also had occasion to make a warranty claim (with less than a month to go) and received outstanding customer support.Tent is ideal for my use and love that it can be detached from the vehicle and left in place.I had to sections of a support pole snap. In all fairness it was in a thunderstorm and the winds were quite extreme. As mentioned above...Rightline customer service (Brian) was fantastic. The tent goes up fairly easy, (easier with 2 on a windy day). Can easily be detached and re-attached. Keeps the interior of the vehicle and tent quite dry (when used with optional rain fly). All zippers, pulls, and screens have held up sell over a number of uses.

Great for MOMS camping with kids
A little hard to put together the first time, but we were in the dark with a pen light, just me and my child. We managed but I will say it took some fierce strength to get the poles bent and inserted into the grommets, we almost gave up. Once stretched a bit, it worked better the rest of the trip. It wwas perfect for our needs. We flew across the country, and had the tent overnight shipped to our hotel it was there when we arrived. We rented a small SUV as pictured and camped for 10 days in the Rockies and Yellowstone. The off gassing was pretty strong the first night (the new plastic smell- not the teenager) and since we had just a penlight, we did not find the zippers to the screens, so we did not know we could have ventilated it, but you want to air it out before sleeping in it. It was much more pleasant the other nights. It is such a breeze as a mom camping to not have to unload everything from the car. We kept our gear in the car the first leg of the trip and slept in the tent area, which is easiest if you are traveling every day to a new site, so you do not have to unload everything. We loved it. After reading reviews here I bought strong mini magnets (which I suggest buying online now- since they were hard to find in stores) to make sure no gaps would let bugs in. AND always spray your tent, sleeping bags, backpacks with SAWYER permethrin to keep ticks away. Just saying, we all have Lyme disease here, you do not want it.

Very roomy and fits Subaru Outback well
Rather than repeat what others have said, here are my experiences with the more controversial points:Ease of setup - I had no problems setting this up out of the box by myself on a slick hardwood floor inside my house. Took about 30 min but I have used many tents over the years so have experience. Poles fit nice and tight.Design - I dock 1 star because this is not a true free standing tent. Even without any wind this tent will not stay up unless you follow the directions and stake it to the ground. However, it's a very tall tent relative to floor space so even if was free standing, a slight breeze would likely require staking to the ground anyway.Stakes - yes, no brainer get better quality ones. A lot of tents require better stakes.Durability - too early to tell for long term but at the price range I would say it's about average on how stress points and zippers are reinforced. Definitely not designed for a lifetime but could be several years depending on where you use it.Overall value - I think it's a little more expensive versus a comparable stand alone tent, but there are not many options that attach to your car and gives full tent functionality. So you pay a premium for that. If the ability to attach to a car is just a gimmicky feature for you, you get more value just buying a standard tent.Recommended accessories - stakes as mentioned above, an 8x8 footprint that can double as a tarp, some modular foam floor mats to use on the interior of the floor. Unlike most tents, this one is designed for standing inside.Feedback to Rightline - design the next version where the rain fly can be assembled with out the tent for a stand along canopy.

I love this tent
2 year Update: I still love this tent. We have used this tent A LOT!! We have used this tent in all types of weather: hot humid days, wind, rain, cold, snow, sleet, everything. It has held up very well. No rips or tears. No problems at all. Upgraded from 4 stars to 5 stars.I love this tent. A lot of good things 2 minor annoying things. On a recent trip to Florida we used this tent in conjunction with our 2013 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. It fit the back of the van perfectly and hooked up nice and snug fairly quickly. It was easy to hook into and unhook when we wanted to go into town or drive somewhere. During our stay there were some massive rain storms with heavy wind. The wind was relentless. The tent had no problems. It stayed put and there were no tears or holes from the pounding. During the rain everything stayed dry and there were no leaks, drips, or condensation on the interior of the tent. It worked perfectly. The only 2 minor things about the tent that need improvement were: the zipper for the front door catches when you try to zip/unzip the tent and the mesh that holds the poles catches the poles making it a little annoying when putting the tent up and taking it down. Overall a great tent. Plenty of interior room with a tall ceiling.
