Essential Elements 2000 for Strings Viola Book 1

This is a very good book for beginners however mine did not come with the CD which was disappointing as it would have been great to play along to. Tne book has some very good diagrams for how to hold the bow etc. The book is also quite good for learning to read the C cleft which unless you are a violist you probably don't know how to read. The order they put things in the book is a bit weird and they don't teach you how to bow until quite far in. Overall very easy to understand and follow.

Very detailed and easy to follow instructions.

Not had time to use it yet but looks good.
