MezzettaBasil Pesto Sauce, 6.25 Ounce

Amazing flavor. It’s the only pesto I’ve found that has the same ingredients as I’d make at home. No foul canola oil or chemicals or any other weird things listed.That said, the ingredients don’t say nuts, which it obviously has. Or what kind of nuts. For the price, I doubt it’s pine nuts. So then I wonder what else they aren’t telling us.But it is a great brand so I will continue to trust until I get to the bottom of this.

Nice not to have to make it yourself. Be sure to store in fridge when opened. The oil rises to the top of the jar, so be sure to stir it up. I dribbled it on grilled salmon for a different flavor--usually I just use lemon.

This stuff is my go-to for most Italian dishes. It’s easy, freshly flavored and a little will do! Highly recommend

Pleasantly surprised, a lot of flavor in a small jar. Used it for pizza. I will buy again.

Very authentic and tasty

Has crushed nuts; ends up VERY gritty. If that’s what you like, that’s fine, but it’s not what I want in my pesto sauce. It’s also very nearly a salt lick, and is very thick, almost like a paste. It’s probably to many people’s tastes, just not mine.

This is a staple in my pantry. Love that they use real Olive oil versus sunflower or some other substitute oil.

I'm traveling and don't want to buy all of the ingredients to make home made pesto so I ordered this. It tastes great and is easy to use. I would order it again!
