Must buy! If you have expensive or irreplaceable earrings these are a must buy. I have diamond earrings that I had my jeweler repost from a screw on back to a locking back. I paid $300 for this replacement and yet the back fell off on the way home. I will admit after I received them and slid them on the post, I was a little skeptical that they would work properly, only because they seem to float on my earring posts. I put my earrings in and slid the backs on and continued to check them over and over for a few days. Much to my surprise, the backs stayed in the same position. They never moved. I keep these earring in 24/7 so I'm showering, sleeping, exercising, sliding clothes on and off over my head and they NEVER move. It does take a few tries to figure out how they work and the best way to remove them, but once you do, you will LOVE them! The design is GENIUS!!! I've had them for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier! If you are wanting well made, reliable safety backs, look no further.

Jewelry store wanted $300 for new screw on earring backs. I bought a pair of cheap ones that were terrible. These are Amazing and worth the price.

I’ve been searching for an earring back replacement after losing a screw back for a diamond stud. Apparently my posts are a bit bigger than the standard earring back. These fit perfectly! Yes they’ll move along the post but won’t come off until you insert your nail between the bits. While expensive I wish I found them sooner as I wasted too much on backs that didn’t work.

These work so well! I hate butterfly backs. They get so much buildup and are uncomfortable. I can have these sit at the end of the earring so no poking and they don’t fall off!

In 2021 I decided to treat myself to my first pair of diamond studs - 1.5 ct tw, which put me out a few thousand dollars. I've never been able to keep even fake jewelry for longer than a few months so I was nervous about losing these studs, especially since I wanted them for everyday wear. I did my research and found the Chrysmela backings. Yes, they're expensive, but definitely worth it if they're keeping my super expensive earings in place. Highly recommend, especially if you're forgetful and don't want to worry about losing your earrings.

GET SOMETHING ELSEthese earring backs say they are locking but honestly, they aren't. I followed all the instructions and still managed to have 2 of them come off and get lost. Luckily, I didn't lose my diamond earring. When I asked the manufacturer about it, they offered a discount for another paid. I was dumb, I did it. Lost them again. GET SOMETHING ELSE, THEY ARE NOT WORTH LOOSING YOUR EARRING OVER!

These work really well and are very comfortable. I prefer them to screw backs that I've had in the past. That being said, they need to be 50-100% larger in diameter than they are. These things are really tiny and not cheap. If you have thicker artificial nails, they can be even a little more tricky to take off properly. I don't sleep in my earrings so I take them off daily. If you wear them all the time, then this probably won't effect you as much. It has gotten easier over the last month that I've had them. I'd give them 5 stars if they were a more appropriate size. If you drop one, they are the devil to find.
