Great sound for the money when given a good source

I have previously gone for the Moondrop Chus as they had a neutral yet bright sound, if you haven't heard of anything beyond the typical Apple sound these are great highquality alternative. Then here are the CCA's CRA, which are something similar but also very different.They have a good quality IEM build, especially with the clear and silver build. But what makes these more comfortable to wear than say the Chus is how the over ear loops work really well, as they reduce the weight along the cables and the IEMs themselves. The silicone tips are okay, but I would recommend swapping them out to memory foam ones, though this can be just personal preference. These also have a two pin, removable line, which unlike the Chu's that don't have this feature where this makes these have a better life and ease of repair.Now this is where it comes down to the important part, the sound quality and clarity. These have very good quality sound for the price, and they are very fun to listen to as they a V shaped tuning - this means that the sound leans on elevated bass and treble at the cost of some recessed mids. In terms of performance, these are better than the Chu's in my opinion because they are so fun to listen to, however due to this, it can be somewhat tiring to listen to hence why I may fall back onto the Chu's. Unfortunately the mic quality on the inline is not as good as the Chu's on these but I rarely use them.These make a good companion and alternative to Chu's and are really good quality sound. Highly recommended.

These IEMs are some of my favourite ones I've worn, this is because they are seemingly more comfortable than any other pair. The sound is quite good for general earphones, but not the best in terms of IEMs, but these are in a very budget price range, so taking that into consideration these are amazing. I also really like the transparent wire and ear buds, it's a design I wish more earphones would use.

I so wanted to like these. They are beautifully made and look amazing.There is no manual, so took a while to figure out how to get the cable connections right (see my photos for correct way).They are very comfortable to wear.I eagerly selected an unplugged acoustic song I use to test headphones with. But I was disappointed.Whilst the treble is crystal clear and I can hear the female vocalist taking breaths and the sparking fret noises of the guitar, that is where it ends. With virtually no lower mid or bass, they sound harsh and unpleasant to me.I tried a contemporary track featuring some massive analogue synthesizer bass lines...this too sounded harsh and toppy.I work in the music industry so I'm a little spoiled, but with any set of headphones I am looking for a flat response that can be adjusted in software. But with ear buds on a phone they need to just work out of the box.What they will be good for is telephone calls as they will be very clear, albeit a little unpleasant.I wish I could give more than three stars, but with no owners manual, and very little bass/lower mid I cant rate higher.

Comes in a retail box with spare ear tips and the cable separate.This is a review of the CRA Silver buds with mic and a 3.5mm trrs plug.The audio quality is pretty good for the cost with a decent amount of low end with quite crispy highs and fairly decent separation.The mids and highs however do suffer once you get above 75% volume depending on the genre you are listening to.Some eq adjustments are recommended though and reducing some of the highs is probably the way to go here, it really depends on your age as the younger you are, the more you will hear in the high end.My classical test track masser from the skyrim sound track showed some of the downsides to ear buds in this price point (it always does) with the highs and mids being quite harsh sounding when i cranked these to 80%.My electronic test track The witching hour sounded great with nice thuddy kicks but during the drop with the synth riff there was some distortion but its not as bad as the masser track.My next track was invincible by tool this sounded great with nice snappy snares and good separation of the individual elements but again there was some mild distortion in places mainly when there is a lot going onOnce i turned the volume down to 60% and listened to my tracks again the audio quality was pretty good and most of the distortion i heard at 75% volume was gone.The price at the time of ordering was £21.99 and for that price you get a reasonable pair of iem's and with some eq adjustments these are really worth considering if your on a budget.
