Works like my OEM charger
My OEM charger failed so I tried this off market brand and I couldn’t be happier. It charges great and fast. It fits just like my old one did. It looks nice and was charged up right out of the box so I used it right away. Very happy with this product.

Surprisingly thoughtful design, with a couple cut corners
This product is a bit of a mixed bag. It feels like they did 80% of the work, checked most of the desired features off a list, then walked away. The packaging is shoddy. It arrived dirty, dented, and unsealed. The copy and layout of the text are bad. I would not be comfortable giving this item as a gift because it very clearly looks like a knockoff. This doesn't pair well with a $3,500 face computer. The device itself, though, has some great little features and design cues. The stand works perfectly with or without the cloth cover that comes with the headset. In fact, the headset seems to rest better with the cover on. The base has a button to turn the RGB LED lights on and off, though nothing to turn off the bright status LED on the front of the base.Rather than using a standard DC adapter, the base accepts USB-C while also including a USB-C plug and cable. That charger delivers 27.9w into the base.Included with the plastic base, USB brick, and USB-C cable is a velcro cable manager and a SIM eject tool. I'm not sure why the SIM tool is in there, but it might be helpful for people trying to pry the USB-C inductive adapters out of the base.In terms of performance, it has been successfully plugging in and charging my Vision Pro for a couple of days. As another reviewer noted, it does occasionally need some manual alignment to work and would benefit from a little bit of springiness for the charging connector. Cable management from the battery into the headset is a little bit messy, but not in a way that's a dealbreaker.Overall, this is a moderately handsome way to store a Vision Pro while keeping it charged. The use of USB-C and a button to handle the lighting effects are greatly appreciated. If the manufacturer spent a little more time on the engineering and packaging, this would be a great product.

Pleasantly Surprised - (Edited on 12-13-2024 with Update - fails to charge now)
***Update - not working anymore*** Until now, my review below was very accurate. However, in terms of durability, I am lowering the rating to two stars. I have had this for about six months and the magnetic charging no longer works. Now it is a regular stand and not a charging stand. Because of that I would not recommend this product anymore as six months is a too short a lifespan for something like this.I didn't have much of any expectations with this, and with that in mind, I was pleasantly surprised. The Apple Vision Pro is very new and there aren't a lot of accessories for this of any kind because the user base is very small due to its high price tag and lack of available apps. I am surprised there is a charging dock that enables the battery to be charged wirelessly with an adapter. So naturally I was intrigued by the possibility of being able to use a dock to charge it.First thing - like other reviewers have stated, the instructions are not good and are missing a vital part of the process which I have provided pictures to show. This base comes with two USB-C to magnetic charging end adapters. You pull one out (straight up - may need pilers but be gentle) and then plug it into the USB-C port on the battery. The result should look like the one of the pictures I uploaded that shows a circular knob at the end of the battery. The adapter to enable wireless charging is something I've never seen before, and I have to admit that I thought it was pretty cool. I can think of many uses for this type of enhancement. I had zero alignment issues and didn't have to make any adjustments for the mechanism to latch properly and start charging. With the usb-c cable provided, the base charged at 26.1 watts, 9.0 volts and 2.9 amps. If you don't use the adapter it came with, make sure whatever you're plugging it is capable of providing at least 30 watts and preferably 5 amps or else you won't max out your charging speed. I tested this with a high-end, 200-watt usb-c cable using a 140 watt power source which produced identical charging speeds, so the cable it comes with is adequate to max out its (the stand's) potential charging speed. The Apple Vision Pro battery charges faster when directly plugged into a 40+ watt power source but that's not an issue for me at all. There is a charging indicator led in the front and then it has an effects lighting strip at the base which I like. It adds some appeal to the design and makes it look modern. There are a few different color modes you can choose from by pressing the power button in the back of the base. The plastic is fine. It's not flimsy, but it isn't top of the line either. For this price point, I wouldn't expect it to be. I was actually surprised it was as good as it is. It is a charging dock, so it isn't like you're going to be moving this around much, if at all. I don't see this breaking anytime soon.I give it five stars because:1. It is one of the first AVP docks to come out and enable wireless charging of the battery.2. The usb-c magnetic adapter seems to be of good quality. Time will tell, but it doesn't feel cheap.3. It works exactly as described and the included cable and power adapter perform as advertised.4. It looks sleek and modern and fits the style of the AVP.5. The quality is decent overall and is definitely worth the asking price. If Apple made something like this, or a well-known accessory brand like Belkin, it would cost a fortune.6. Not that this is critical, but Apple fans like myself enjoy nice product boxes, and this product comes in a nice box.

Charing Dock for Apple Vision Pro
First of all this charging doc does the job. It charges my vision pro. I like that the charger input is using USB C which I can plug into my USB C hub that is on my nightstand and charge it off of that. The added RGB light is a little gimmicky if you ask me but its whatever. The body of the charging doc is very plastic like and seems cheap. I think it will be okay though since it will just be resting on my nightstand and not moving around much. Overall it a pretty good dock that I feel like could of used some better materials to build the body of the dock but that's just me.

Solves a problem that should have been fixed from Apple!
The one thing that blows my mind about the Vision Pro, is Apples lack of wanting a place to store and charge it. It's such a fragile piece of hardware, you think they'd include some way of storing it around the home. (Don't get me started on their $200 case)While I don't care for the RGB, and appreciate them including a way to turn it off, the wireless charging is the main star here. Just plug in one of the magnetic wireless USB-C dongles into your battery, and whenever you set your battery down on this stand, it'll immediately start charging. And thankfully they included two becuase I've already lost one. :(The only small annoying thing is I wish when the battery was docked, when it was fully charged, the light on the front would turn off. Unfortunately it's bright. Like annoying in the dark, bright. I've ended up keeping this in my office and a 3d printed one I made on my office.Build quality is great and has a nice matte plastic finish with no sharp edges and the magnet charging are strong and high quality. Grateful that GEEKERA and other companies like this are coming up with inexpensive solutions.
