Description

This T Handle kit is always set to be in the LOCK position. It has a "Storeroom Function" behavior. Some people call it a "Non Removable" handle. Basically the handle will always be in the lock position. You need the key to unlock it, and when the key is removed, it forces the handle to go back in the lock position. This handle will fit both your trash or laundry chute door. It has a blind mount with a 90-degree clockwise rotation. This handle fits both bottom hinged, and side hinged chute intake doors. You will get exactly the items you see in the photos. To make sure you have an exact fit, we recommend removing the current handle you have on your door, and making sure the copper piece behind the handle has that V Shape that we call a V Spindle. The mounting holes on the escutcheon plate are 1-1/2 inches apart. That is pretty universal, but measure it from center of hole to center of hole to be 100% sure. This assembly has a backset tubular slam bolt latch that measures 1-5/8" that is standard for the majority of bottom hinged and side hinged chute doors. You will also receive two keys that are always keyed alike with the code CH751. This CH751 code covers 95% of all handles in the industry. Finally you will see in the photos the commonly used screws that are compatible for these handles and doors. We included the two variation of screws used, and you can select the screws that are compatible with your doors.
