I decided to try this brand because I’ve had bad experiences with other brands in the past not working at all. I love that you can test each piece before installation to make sure it is working properly. I had an issue with one piece, contacted the vendor, and was sent a replacement free of charge. They also followed up just to make sure the part arrived and I had no other issues. It took about 4-5 hours for me to install but it’s definitely worth it.

Took me 5 hours to set up this light kit but it's well worth it. What's another 5 hours after building this 4 thousand plus piece set anyhow? The instructional video was easy to follow as well. It's a bummer that you will have to disassemble the Notre Dame set to install the lights but what light kit doesn't have you doing this? If you have the patience, you will thoroughly enjoy the end product with this light kit. It looks amazing!

For something that was expensive as it was- genuinely disappointing how an entire package came completely broken and ripped upon arrival. The number 4 package was barely salvageable and I was genuinely excited when it came time to put on the lights. One one out of the 4 were functional and it was a genuine let down. Not worth it for the price when it doesn’t even come in one piece.

Best to install lighting kit after building the main parts of the Notre Dame building but before installing the final finishes.

I received this product and saw that the installation instructions were on YouTube which made it very easy to follow along with. The wires and plugs are very small so I do suggest a good hobby magnifying glass. I picked one up that wear like a hat with a light on it at hobby lobby for $16. One of my plugs broke off but I contacted the manufacturer and they sent out the replacement part immediately for you with no hassles. You do have to email them but they got back to me very quickly. It took about 6 hours to complete the lighting but it turned out beautifully. I definitely recommend these brickbling lights. I got the one with the remote. Well worth the money and the time.

The final product after installing the lighting kit is truly great!!! Some pieces are quite small (as expected considering the size of the LEGO set to begin with) and sometimes fragile to install. A piece broke during my installation, but customer service was VERY responsive and helpful in quickly replacing the part! I’m never letting another LEGO set go without a lighting kit! 🙌🏻

You will need to partially disassemble the set to install the lights but it is worth it.
