Amazing action camera

This thing is awesome. To be able to walk a trail and not miss anything is incredible. Maybe a deer walked behind you and you didn't see it, well with the editing magic you can at it to your video or then extract a picture from any angle. It's like having eyes completely around your head. Making 360 videos for YouTube that anyone can look at from any angle is neat too. More views because there can watch from different perspective. The editing software that comes with is great addition too.

I have now, three of insta 360s cameras. They are amazing. I always buy mine from Amazon cause they have better pricing, not to mention- payment plans if you need them. The camera works as it should, and the quality is top notch 👌

-The good:The camera seems to work well, gets a little warm after recording at high res, but the videos/images are very very nice... it records very well. I guess that is expected from a 400+ dollar camera... only time will tell how well it holds up.-The not so good:Camera requires the app to "run for the first time" in order to work... seriously? So, if I don't have a mobile device I can't use my brand new 400+ dollar camera? Who came up with this idea? Its a camera, and I understand that most people have a mobile device.... (including me) but this leads me into the next section...-The ugh, what where they thinking...As tittle reads: the Android app, required to "activate the camera" just like most programs these days was written by people who couldn't code their way out of a paper bag, as this app it requires a very powerful mobile device to run decently, as it barely runs on a Galaxy Tab A9+ Tablet 11”, and it won't even run (crashes) on an Samsung A7 from 2020 with Android 11, which runs nearly every other app just fine, even games...But contrary to games, where performance is usually of the essence... this app really feels like it was written in some ancient interpreted language using the finest "bubble sort" like coding techniques and every other CPU clocks sapping tricks in their three star programmer arsenal... oh, wait... it was probably written in Java, so not even one star there...So, this brings me to the previous point about "app required to run", so if you don't have a decent mobile device, you might not be able to get your 400+ dollar toy to work... great way to go!!Removing the useless video that auto-starts would be a winner.... the video makes a sudden loud noise if you happen to have the volume maxed out, when trying to skip the, IMO, also useless "log in with an account"... its a camera, for Pete's sake... (playing a video while offering to connect.... another memory and performance hog right there...)As the old time adage from C.S. vs E.E. goes: hardware engineers keep getting things smaller and faster, while software engineers keep coding things that are bigger and slower... this app, at a whopping ~2.0 GB install its the epitome of such statement. I guess 1.8 GB of the 2.0 GB app is perhaps for the super high quality hideous video that spams you when first trying to connect your camera? thus scrambling your startled self, with shaky fingers, to reach for the volume buttons to shut the thing up..
