Tastes great. Has a really good kick of garlic without it being too much.We use them on chips too but on steak it was brilliant.

The first time I heard about truffle salt was on princess Meghan Markle show on Netflix, so decided to buy this brand because they offer the best price, 200 grams Is a under £10 is good value for money. So far I have used my truffle salt for steaks, my oh my, it has completely transformed my steaks to yummy yummy yummy. How can I not know about truffle salt before?. Now I can't cook steaks with my truffle salt. The aroma from the salt can be very strong, but doesn't affect the absolutely fantastic flavour that it gives to your dishes. I will buy few more to store in my pantry.

This 230g jar of black garlic seasoning is useful for so many things. I have had black garlic steaks before, so this is the first thing I tried this seasoning on. I oiled the steaks first and then gently patted the seasoning onto the meat, it sticks better by doing this. It smells great but not overwhelmingly of garlic, I found that you need quite a bit of this to get a good flavour. You can smell the onion more than anything else, but the overall taste is very nice, slightly sweet and smoky with a hint of the paprika coming through.This is a versatile item to have in the kitchen. It can be used as a rub, seasoning or added to marinades or dressings. It seems to be good quality and has a decent use by date, mine is 11-2-2027. The jar was sealed on arrival and I like that the lid gives you two options for dispensing it onto whatever you choose (shown in pictures).I would recommend this black garlic seasoning, it is great on steaks, burgers, chicken and so much more, whether you are cooking on the BBQ or in the oven. The size of this jar means it should last for a while, so I think it is good value for money, currently priced at £9.99 at the time of my review (April 2025).

I found the addition of garlic in this mix too strong for me.

I bought this SPG because it didn't contain any articial additives and got good reviews. It's been really great used on steaks, burgers and beef. I like to sprinkle it on minced beef burger patties and steaks, when I pan-fry. I've also used it alot when cooking steaks and beef joints on the bbq. I've found that the garlic in the mix comes through most when pan-frying burgers. When cooking steaks, burgers and beef on the bbq the garlic seems less up front.
