I travel a lot and like plastic vacuum bags. I bought these Gonex bags as an experiment and they work as just bags to sort your clothes as well as being able to be over-stuffed and then compressed by the extra zip. Both the bags and the zips seem tough.I expect that eventually the plastic - or the seal - will get damaged and they will be expensive to replace. I like the Gonex ba bags and expect they will eventually be all I use but ... they are not waterproof! I don't know how good they would be a keeping insects out ...

I paid a little more for these cubes, due to a bad experience with cheaper versions. I can confidently confirm, that you get what you pay for... these cubes are strong, sturdy and look great too. I would recommend that you follow the instructions and lie items flat within the cube, and do not pack until full, but leave a bit of space. This allows easier compression when doing up the zips. I was surprised how much more I could pack into my case, and lucky to have a generous weight for my hold luggage.

I bought these cubes as a relatively cheap(ish) way to try packing cubes and I really like them. It really helps me to organise my suitcase and pack more efficiently. My suitcase is just a lot tidier and it also makes it easier to separate clean and dirty clothing on the way home. As for these specific packing cubes, the purple colour is exactly as pictured. I have used them a fair bit this summer and they seem durable so far. This number of cubes is plenty for up to a 10 day trip, maybe a fortnight depending on climate. You can fit all 4 into a carry on suitcase when they are packed - though the compression doesn't really work that well so do not expect any miracles.

Really useful to organise and transport your clothes. I was able to pre-pack the families holiday clothes and then easily place them in our suitcases.I placed them in the wardrobe and didn't really need to unpack them further.On the return trip I used the larger one for washing, easy to chuck the contents in the machine when you're home.A slight bit of visibility to the contents would be helpful, but otherwise a great find!

Each cube has a second zipper that, when closed, compresses the contents and saves space. This is particularly useful for bulkier items like sweaters and jackets. Packing and unpacking is much easier with these cubes. I love being able to pull out a specific cube without disrupting the rest of my suitcase but they also don’t fully open like others I had, which is easier to handle.
