These lights have turned out to be perfect for my application. I mounted them under a cabinet that is over the sink & countertop in my laundry room. Their slim profile makes them almost unnoticeable. They provide a good amount of additional light for laundry tasks. The motion sensing function works well, and they turn off automatically after about 20 seconds. (Though I wish that was a bit longer, or maybe adjustable.) The lights mounted fairly easily, though the measuring was a little tricky, due to the unsymmetrical placement of the magnets. The tiny screws were a bit hard to screw in, but drilling little pilot holes helped. The magnets hold the lights firmly, but removal is not difficult at all. I’ve tracked the battery life for each light, and it has been excellent — between 1 and 2 months before the lights die out, sometimes even longer. (Of course, this depends on how often you walk by & trigger the motion sensor.) Charging takes less than a day, though I haven’t timed that in detail. Overall, a great purchase that really helps brighten up my laundry workspace.

They give you extras.Easy to recharge, and comes with cable.Motion sensor capability reduces wear and tear on the battery, and decreases frequency of recharge.Obviously if placed in a high traffic area, it will need to be charged more often.Awesome in dark closets and under kitchen cupboards. Especially if you aren't ready to rewire the house with a more permanent solution, or if you are renting.

Simple and effective way to install under cabinet or floorboard lighting. The motion sensor and 4 levels of brightness make them a great addition. The magnets make it easy to pull them down and recharge.

Love the design-sleek, easy to install. I like the feature of 4 levels of lighting. The motion detector feature is a must! I’m glad they are USB powered. The charge does not last as long as I would like. I installed under my kitchen cabinets. They would be perfect for inside closets.

I loved that I could dim the brightness to a comfortable level, especially for nighttime use.The battery held a charge for several days, and I could conveniently recharge them using the ship’s USB outlets—no need to pack extra adapters. I set the lights to automatic mode, which was ideal for those middle-of-the-night wakeups in a completely dark cabin. They turned on just long enough to be helpful without being disruptive.You also have the option to leave them on continuously, which is a nice touch. Compact, reliable, and travel-friendly—I highly recommend these lights, especially if you’re cruising or staying in places with limited lighting.

Very happy with this purchase item well built, easy to charge. Very bright, easy to take down and charge due to the magnet hanging system. The motion detector is spot on turns off in approximate 20 seconds and turns on as soon as you open the closet door where it was installed. Would recommend this product to other customers.

I love these. These charge up quickly and the magnet attachment makes the ability to take them off to re-charge super easy. I have 2 in my dark closet - one up high for the clothing and one down low for my boots/shoes. As soon as I open the closet door the upper one goes on - it's nice and bright. The motion detection is quick - no delay at all. The lower one sometimes i have to swipe my foot or hand in front but generally if it "sees" me bending down to look at shoes it goes on right away. These are so easy to use- They're really a game changer in my closet.

I only just received this the other day. Let me tell you my honest opinion.For one thing, the magnet absolutely sucks. If you were hoping to mount it by magnet, as I was, sorry to disappoint. I have an iron plate standing vertically that I tried mounting it to and the magnet would not hold the weight of the 10" light. And I don't mean that it barely holds; I do mean that you can barely even admit there is a magnetic field in this at all. It might as well not be there. Its kind of a false advertisement.Secondly, the device is poorly designed electrically. For one thing Im not super impressed with the battery longevity on its first charge. By the way, they are not yet charged out of the box (which is fine and preferred imo, but surprising for amazon products). But it really doesnt last long at all; keep up on charging it because if you wait until you need the light to check, it wont be there.Thirdly, more on the poor electrical design. The red LED that indicates charging and the green LED that indicates fully charged (and on the charger still) unfortunately triples as the light sensor that is used to trigger the activation of the light in automatic mode. The problem? I dont know for sure, but I suspect that while on the charger and fully charged, the green light over-saturates the light sensor. Basically, when youre in automatic mode, motion will activate the light only when the device is unplugged or when its still actively charging (red light). When its fully charged and that green light comes on still on the charger, motion wont trigger the sensor any more until you take it off the charger.What am I happy about? The switch allows for ON, OFF, and AUTO modes, and the push button has light six different brightness settings. I find that the lowest setting is easiest on the eyes, especially at night when youre walking through your house (which is why I went with the warmer color). I would have preferred maybe a red color, however, or something with less blue light in it.All in all Im fairly satisfied. I dont think its an unreasonable price for what I got and I dont regret the purchase. It serves its purpose, and for an amazon product I didnt expect much.
