My orchid is growing stronger with this product and No flies around, perfect

I was a bit sceptical about this product, but a couple of months later the pesky flies have disappeared. I covered the soil of all our houseplants with a generous layer of this product. With one houseplant, the morning after watering and after the application of the granules, the pot was surrounded by abundant dead/dying flies. This continued for several days and then ceased. More time is needed to assess the longevity of the treatment, hence 4 stars not 5.

We've got a bit of a fungus gnat problem, so I was happy to give these granules a go. It is very easy to apply.Unfortunately, I either overestimated how much was in a bag (1 liter isn't very much), underestimated how much you need to use (the instructions say to apply a layer 2cm thick), and/or wasn't really aware of just how many house plants we have (a lot, we have a lot). Because I ran out, and there are some plants that haven't been treated, there are still gnats flying about and I can't say for certain which pots they are coming from. However, I have heard very good things about diatomaceous earth being an effective solution, so I have faith that once I've treated the additional pots, all will be well.This half-kilo bag of diatomaceous earth granules is selling for £14.99 at the time of this review. Following a quick bit of research, I can see that that's rather on the high side for this particular substance.

These granules are very helpful and are efficient. I managed to save few of my plants. I will order more of these granules when I finish this bag as I still have some left.Recommended!Thank you for reading my review. I hope that you found it helpful.

How disappointing. I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing. This does not help with existing gnat problems. It's simply broken up porous rock bits that act as a barrier between the soil and the air. Also, it only covers 3-4 pots at most so is very expensive. The plastic bag is only half full so calling it eco friendly is an exaggeration.

This is effective prevention from gnats. Easy application. It is made from natural sources. Good value for money

I have been dealing with gnats for ages now and nothing has worked so I thought I'd try this.It doesn't quite kill the gnats, more like stop the larvae from hatching. It's a natural clay product which is a good thing as I've had enough of chemicals around my plants.It's worked really well thus far and I'm really happy with it.Only thing is you don't get much in the packet for the price.

I have noticed that the product fizzes when you water it which is a bit concerning.
