works well
Love it catch nats and flies, but we also use it as a night light too. The blue lights glow pretty good on dark' watch how you handle very sticky.

Fell apart before I turned it on.
Be aware that when you take this out of the package, the sticky part is't covered. You'll most likely put your hands right on it. I put batteries in it, but the cheap plastic holder wouldn't click closed. So I taped it. Then I went to hang it and the whole bottom part fell off, busted open, and broke part of the battery contacts. So I pieced it all back together. Then had to tape the bottom to the sticky tube. There is nothing other than the friction of the tube onto the bottom piece holding it in! Nothing holding the heaviest part of the GLOstik to itself! I don't know how anyone looked at this design and said it was ok to put out on the market. I know this is cheap and seems like a fun and easy way to rid flying bugs, but just get the fly tape. At least that doesn't fall apart in your hands or just literally fall apart hanging it for the first time.

Bug killer
Very easy to use. The brightness is great. It kills the bugs great. Very easy to clean up. Great value and the noise level there is none.

Glad I had a spare for an ant swarm
4am on a particularly muggy and still morning after a rain, walked out onto the porch with my cell phone on and immediately attracted a huge swarm of (annual) flying ants. Glad I had a spare tube on hand. Installed a fresh one, photos are what it caught within an hour. Taking it down from 4 to 3 stars bc of the rather expensive price and fact that the company does not sell refills only.Original review:HANG IT AWAY FROM RAIN AND FOLIAGECatches lots of flying bugs but DON'T HANG on BUSH or TREE BRANCHES if you're going to feel sorry for the gekkos that will get trapped. :'-( They're friends of the garden & help eat bugs. I had 3 of these setup. The one hanging next to a wall away from foliage worked great & didn't catch gekkos. The two I had hanging from a tree & one on a hedge branch kept catching poor gekkos as well.ONE BIG DESIGN FLAW - The battery cover on the bottom has a LIP THAT FACES UP & COLLECTS WATER if it rains hard enough or gets hose watering. I had to throw one out cuz the batteries & thin metal contacts got corroded & rusted right after a good rain. Company could've easily avoided this if the plastic lip of the battery cover snapped INSIDE & under the upper casing instead of around it. Don't hang it in the rain.

Worked for a few months
It was great when it was new. After a few months of on and off usage, the wires came loose or something because it would flicker and sometimes turn off randomly during the night.
