Extremely convenient to use, just take it out of the bag and add it straight to the tank. The quality is excellent: very soft texture, ideal grain size, and a beautiful, natural-looking color. By far the best substrate I've used. It comes pre-moistened, so you can pour it right in, and any cloudiness clears up really quick. I combined the white sand with fine gravel for a realistic look in my 5-gallon tank. Works perfectly!

Whoever thought of this is a genius! Easy to get out of the bag and into the tank, high quality, super soft and perfect grain size, and the color is super nice and natural looking! But the fact that it has the beneficial bacteria defiantly makes it 100% worth the money! It's perfect for getting the nitrogen cycle started in a new tank and I would recommend it to anyone, beginner or experienced! I actually already ordered more. (Also, just spend the extra 2 bucks for 10pounds of it, 5pounds isn't a lot and considering you can get twice the amount for only 2 dollars extra you might as well do it!)

Best substrate I’ve ever had. Comes wet, dumps directly in the tank, and after 5ish minutes of filling it up, all cloudiness gone (WITHOUT A FILTER RUNNING). My plants are thriving, my snails are digging, my goldfish play in it, and my Nitrogen cycle has never been better. Tank “sludge” is nonexistent. The white sand does show anything and everything, but a quick vacuum does the trick in my tank. Also the sand sparkles underwater!!!!!!! Never buying anything else!

Great product but had problems with shipping. The first time the package got damaged, then it got lost, and then it took extra time to come. So expect it to take a while.About 5-6 bags covered the ground of my 55 gallon aquarium. But I'm pretty happy with it! It was easy to use, it's soft, clean and looks great!

Great for tanks. My turtle loves to bury herself in it. Easy to clean. It’s very pretty. Doesn’t grow algae or fungus. Great value for the price. And super easy to add into tanks and clean.

The first picture was after I put the sand in my new tank after 2 hours.The second picture was when I woke up the morning after. Crystal clear!Beautiful white sand with no cloudiness. Love itI got 4, 5 pound bags for my 20 gallon tank. Gave me a nice 1 inch to 1.5 of sand.

I just planted my tank so I’m not sure how well it’s going to turn out yet, but so far the sand worked perfectly. It’s got water in the bag (I’m assuming for the bacteria) so be weary of that as it can be messy. The sand is very pretty, though. I bought some regular white sand to mix it with and it looks perfect.
