Got this for my niece, safe to say she loved her new "horesy."

I gave this to my Granddaughter at Christmas. She loved it & everybody had to play with it. I thought it was so cute. So happy that she loved& enjoyed it. If someone is looking for a cute toy for a girl or boy, age 7 to 9. I highly recommend it. ❤️

Its cute. It holds up to dropping and rough play, but my kids got tired of it after a few minutes.

My daughter is about one years old. It scared her at first but she absolutely loves it now.

The Interactive FurReal Rainbow Zebra Zenya is a cute toy, that moves and makes noise like a living creature when you interact with it. This is our second FurReal toy, the first of which was loved by adults and children alike, so we were very excited to receive this one.There are three settings for this toy. Off, day and night. In the day setting, upon petting certain areas of the body, cheek, chin, and back, Zenya will interact. Her eyes open and close, ears move, and her head and neck move. Her cheeks also light up with a red light. In addition, it makes various horse like noises. If you are not interacting with the Zenya, the toy will make noises on it's own. If there is no engagement, the toy will shut off after a certain amount of time and will turn back on when someone interacts with it. In addition, if you press and hold down the button built into her back, (you can feel, not see it), Zenya will play a country sounding tune, which seems like a very odd choice for a rainbow colored zebra.That said, the "shining star" functionality of this toy is the night setting. When set on night, the toy closes it's eyes and makes gentle sleeping sounds. It also plays a peaceful melody perfect for putting children to sleep. The cheeks glow red to give a little light, but red light will not stimulate wakefulness. The toy will continue like this until the interaction stops. Once interaction stops, it will play for a few more minutes and then shut off. If the child wakes and interacts again, the toy will start over, with the same process.The toy's legs do move, but the effort required to move them is to the point you are fearful you are going to break it. However, I think this has something to do with the fact they want the toy to be able to stand up on it's own, so the legs lock in each position. It also has long eye lashes and comes with a headband and shoes. The headband and mane can be decorated with included foam stars and hearts of various colors, which have a hole in the middle and a slit in them so they can be placed around the hair of the mane or on the posts of the headband. Finally, there is a pink plastic piece that is a brush on one side and a cupcake on the other. If you place the top of the cupcake in the mouth of the toy, the zebra will interact.Overall, the toy is cute and has many movements and sounds, but they are all rather similar. Where this toy really excels, is the night setting, however, the toy is not very plush and not really made for being slept with.The kids did enjoy seeing all the various interactions, and decorating the zebra with the included items, but once done, they seemed to lose interest. They do play with it, but no where near the level we expected for a toy at this price point. Personally, other than the night setting, I found the toy to be cute, but boring and way overpriced for what it does. Three stars.
