EKWB EK-Loop Vertical GPU Holder EVO - Gen4 Riser

It just works, its rock solid because it anchors both to the case and motherboard.It comes with a linkup riser (best in the industry) that's true PCI-E 4.0.My only wish is it came in a few versions with different riser cable lengths. The default one it comes with is very long and pushes my GPU out of alignment a bit because it is pressing against the back of it due to being too long. I ordered a smaller riser from linkup to fix this issue but would be nice if I could have just bought it with a smaller riser cable to begin with.

Produkt an sich ist nicht schlecht, kein kippen oder hängen der gpu mehr.Leider verstehe ich nicht wieso die gpu, welche ich nach dem Einbau des Halters verbaut habe, hinten zum case heraus verschraubt wird, keine Chance die 2. Schraube zu nutzen, da man absolut nicht mit einem normalen Schraubendreher dran kommt. Zudem ist das riser Kabel meiner Meinung nach unnötig lang (hätte man auch anders lösen können). Demnach liegt es bei mir direkt hinten auf der Backplate und an der Öffnung auf der gpu auf. Die Frage die sich mir stellt wie viel Wärme hebt das Kabel aus? Zudem kommt das es nicht einmal 24h später als Prime Versand rausging und noch etwas billiger, die Stornierung ging vor Versand weshalb auch immer nicht durch. Daher die 3 Sterne

First of all, EKWB is a very overpriced brand that is never worth the asking price. This bracket alone cost more than a Lian Li EVO case. If you think in what world would EKWB decide to charge for a piece of metal cost more than an entire case, then you are not alone.Now the design of the bracket is fine but its not without limitations.1.If you are going to spend this kind of money and not use the watercooled cards, you will be locked in to air cooled cards that only have a dual slot design. If you ever want to use a brand and it happens to be more than 2 slots, you are out of luck.2. Once its time to secure the card to the backplate with the bolts, the holes are not able to correctly align the card with the mounting plate it came with and are impossible to secure with a screw, so the card will still be lopsided a bit. There is a slight design problem there.3. Now they did a good job with offsets and motherboard mounts and the tray will be secure but they used too much metal around the PCIE riser area. More than 35% of my fan is completely blocked by the metal bracket near my bottom fans, they could have eliminated much of the metal to give better airflow.Either way, I think if you are going Watercooled card then this would be fine likely but if you are not, this is a huge rip off.

leider sind Konstruktionsbedingt die nachfolgenden PCIe slots nicht nutzbar. (Asus X299 Rampage VI encore)
