This item worked perfectly! So excited not to have a leaky shower anymore! I was nervous because although we turned off the water it still was leaking a little but has since stopped! Easy to repair ourselves! Look up a couple TikTok video (I like short videos) or a YouTube video (my fiancé likes long videos 🤪.) It went right in and fit perfect! Great value for my money! I am so pleased with my purchase!

The part they sent was defective. Even the pulling tool was defective. The pic shows what they sent to me (the discolored one) vs a new moen brand cartridge. The one Amazon sent appears to be used! The tool didn’t seat properly as if it was cut wrong. Ended up calling out a plumber. He used his tool and the old cartridge came right out. I had him install this one o purchased since I already had it. It leaked the next day so I had to have the plumber come out and install a brand new moen brand cartridge. $400 later and now my shower works. Had the part been decent, I could have done the repair myself. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It sucks. Waste of time and money. No happy.

This kit provides clear instructions and all of the tools needed. My shower works again. If this fails then I'll by the Moen Commercial cartridge which is mostly metal.

Excellent fit; works great; easy to install; very good directions. The lubricating grease was not in the kit as advertised so I took a trip to Lowes. That's the only reason for the 4 star.

This product worked as advertised. It did come with the silicone lube but after reading reviews I decided to buy a small tube of lube. After removing the old cartridge I sanded the tube it goes into and put lube in the tube. I also put lube on the cartridge on the bottom, the black pads and the o-ring. It slid in without fail and no more leaks. I would recommend because it stopped the leak no idea of long-term use as I just installed it. Also it was great to have a new set screw because I had to drill mine out.
