Fluffy
Opening up the package, I fluffed it up with my hands, which was very easy. Laying down on it, it feels soft, but also firm. I would say it sculpts to your body. First time having a feather pillow, so far I like it for its quality and fluffiness.

Aaah
If you like a goose down pillow, so far I'm giving it a thumbs up. I've been sleeping on it for a week and my head just likes it better than other types of pillows I've tried.

They smell bad
When they arrived the smell was terrible. I let it out in the sun for 2 weeks, washed and dried 5 times with baking soda etc but the smell is still extremely strong and there is no way anyone could sleep on it. I am sorry I missed the return window because there is nothing to do than trash the pillows

Feathers poke through
Pillows are very soft but the casing is thin and allows feathers to poke through.

These are very nice pillows!
I have been sleeping on feather pillows for most of my life, and there are necessary tricks to keep feathers inside and the pillows fluffed.Feather pillows can last a decade if treated right. In the old days, they were encased in pillow ticking. Today they are still encased in tightly woven covers (preferably 100% cotton- which there are). My trucks include not one, but TWO tightly woven pillow sacks-the kind that zip. These extra cases provide a barrier that wayward feathers cannot escape, and scratch or leave unwanted feathers in bed. I swear this works! Also, use a high thread count pillow case on top of the pillow sacks. It is not necessary to wash the sacks often at all. The inside sack needs washing rarely, and the outside sack, a little more. Launder the regular pillowcase with your sheets.Next: Do fluff your pillow in the dryer when you first get it. Then hand fluff your pillow as often as you need to. (I turn mine in its side -hidden piping on top of the mattress, and make a dent in the middle of your pillow for your neck)I love a good feather pillow, and these were good and the price was good. It I could afford a much much much more expensive higher down count, I would, but with my system, I am comfortable, sleep well, and know that as time goes in, some if the larger feathers will break down inside of the extra pillow cases, and become more down like on their own.I'm a happy customer, and you can be too.
