Worked well only problem was sometimes there would be goo stuck on my hook when I would reel back in.

I've been struggling at Lake Mead to catch Carp but had absolutely no problem at the urban ponds had caught over 200 in less than 3 months. I have never in all the trips I made hasd so much activity around me due to these PVA bags. I actually linked up two of the biggest Carps I have ever almost caught. I lost both of them the hook ripped out of one of their mouths and the other one the swivel broke due to a bad swivel. It is very important you get all the air out of the bag so it sinks immediately but once you figure that out this is an excellent product I would recommend to anyone. I even caught a catfish on corn using these PVA bags. Only dislike I have is they stink to high heaven but they work.

Could be them or bags in general but I’ve only tried these.After about 45 min to an hour, I reel in and the section at the top of the bag (the twist) is still a large chunk of slim. Like I got a jelly fish stuck on my sinker. Can’t say it hurt my fishing as I still caught fish, I didn’t care for it so I’ll stick with mesh.

I tried using them for chicken livers catfishing and the bags melted when the liver touched them
