Magnadyne RVTV-B2-WEB Omni-Directional Amplified TV/AM/FM Antenna and Distribution Plate Black

I used this to replace the one on my motorhome that a low tree removed and it worked great. The first replacement of the OEM used an external amplifier while this one uses a wall mounted switch. Fortunately my original Winegard used a similar on so the swap was easy. The reception is slightly better than the previous Antop 360.

I had another camper in the same location a few years ago. It had a directional antenna on it and picked up twice as many channels, so I was a little disappointed.

I'm VERY pleased with the antenna I purchased and received. I was using it to replace a previous iteration of this same antenna, and the one received was obviously built better than the prior one was. The installation was simple and, even though there were no instructions included with the antenna, it was pretty obvious how it needed to be installed. I did download an instruction sheet from the company's website, but it was for an antenna different from what was received. All in all... I'm good with Magnadyne - both this antenna and my prior one worked extremely well.

Didn’t exactly match the factory mount that was on my rv, just drove the set screw right through the base to keep it stable. Worked like a charm.

I bought one of these in black, and hooked it up prior to bolting it in place. I got 5 channels, so I completed the installation. When I turned it back on there was no reception. After testing all the wiring and trying different cables, I concluded I'd gotten one with bad circuitry and returned it. I ordered another, this time in white. I hooked it up and got no reception at all. In case it was my tv or wiring, I tried hooking a homemade rabbit ears antenna (two coat hanger wires stuck into a 2x4) to the same lead, and got 5 clear channels immediately. Perhaps I got 2 bad ones in a row, which speaks poorly for this item's quality control, or perhaps it's just a poor product. At any rate it should outperform coat hangers. I returned the second one and will buy a different brand antenna from the local RV dealer.

I assumed it would have more than 8" of cables... now I need to make an additional purchase.. thinking returning it will solve problem... my bad!!!

GREAT ANTENNA! I HAD 24 CHANNELS WITH MY OLD RV CRANK UP ANTENNA NOW I HAVE 38. STATIONARY OMNI DIRECTIONAL, NO MORE CRANKING UP AND TRYING TO FIND RECEPTION TURNING THE ANTENNA AROUND. THIS ANTENNA HAS NO MOVING PARTS, NO HASSLE. EASY INSTALL JUST CONNECT TO OLD ANTENNA CABLE ON ROOF, FOUR SCREWS AND SOME CAULK AND YOUR READY TO GO. ONCE INSTALLED RE-SCAN YOUR CHANNELS. I PICKED UP 14 MORE! WORKS EXCEEDING WELL.

Ordered an exact replacement for one i had previously installed that got damaged. Base hole pattern was different so involved fabbing new connecting plate.
