I compared this to others, and this was a step up from the basic connectors that come with lights. It is easier to use, more solid and allows you to hook up both connectors at once, so they are mated easier together, less likely to get mixed up when connecting multiple lights in one spot--which I did.​Value for money:​Why did you pick this product vs others?:They were the same price or cheaper than other connectors but were more solidly built and better design.Ease of use:I found that other connectors I used sometimes lost contact, wire didn't stay in contact with light contact; these guys had a much better design with a pin in the middle that got compressed with the wire when you tightened it, while the others just had a flat pad. The latter system allowed several of my lights to come lose. Trouble shooting these connection, when buried in the dirt and bent over and on your knees in the cold is not my idea of a good time.

These really work well. Much easier to use than the ones that require pliers to squeeze the connector to penetrate the wire. Those can be difficult due to limited access when doing a repair, and it's easy to not position the wire properly. Plus if you are working with old, brittle-insulation wire, it can be difficult to get enough leverage to penetrate the plastic. On the other hand, these are much easier to use. Each conductor of the wire is penetrated separately, and by a screw thread, requiring a lot less force. Another nice feature is that you can connect the light-fixture wiring directly to this connector, without the need for wire nuts. Just be careful not to overtighten the nuts, or you could strip the screw threads.

Great product and made installation of my landscape lighting very smooth. I would suggest using 14 gauge wire if wattage and distance allow it. I had a section where I used 12 gauge and had to use a razor blade to take some of the thickness of the wire out to ensure contact. Also the 12 gauge spread the threads out on the connectors and the caps did not thread on as well as using the 14 gauge wire. I tried to flatten the 12 gauge wire with some vice grips with little effect. Again, overall a great product compared to the simple wire caps that came with my lights.

Bought these connectors for installing pathway lights. These were easy to use and water resistant. Keeping the ones leftover in case one needs replacing on future repairs.

I had terrible experience with other connectors using the SUNVIE 16/2 low voltage landscape wire.This one worked instantly, 100%. I just set it up but the instant success is very encouraging. Can't comment on durability but so far it blew the competition out of the water

Worked perfectly for the project intended. Purchased a transformer, wire, and lights from Amazon for the screened porch. It looks great!!

The connectors are easy to use and are time savers. It also allows connecting a lamp without cutting the power wire. More expensive than wire nuts but a much simpler way to make connection And, if the lamp has to be removed or adjusted the connector stays on the lamopline and the power line stays intact.

These connector sets for landscape lighting are great. The connections they make seem much better and much longer lasting than the "pinch-on" connectors you get from Malibu lighting. They're very easy to put on and take off. That makes them much easier to install and much easier to replace if one ever fails.
