DROK Class AB Amplifier, 2.1 Channel 80W+80W Stereo and120W Pure Bass 9-18V 4Ω Audio Amplifier Board

I ordered 2 of these, 1 spare, to replace 2 Class-D digital amplifiers. The Class-D amps had very poor bass response and and sounded too bright on the mids and highs. It also required a 24 volt supply, which meat a separate 12V regulator for the VU meter circuit. This item took their places with no changes to the preamp at all (the preamp was tested separately for frequency response after I noticed the lack of bass). The change in the sound was night and day, with the full spectrum being reproduced. This is on good quality KLH speakers and connected to the line out on my computer. The bass is deep and tight. the bass drums have punch, yet the foot pedal notes from an organ are there also.I highly recommend this amp!

Interesting little board for the DIY / hobbyist crowd. It uses a ST TDA7850 chip intended for 4 channel automotive applications. The subwoofer implementation is pretty straightforward, although it should be noted that the subwoofer uses only one of the chip's amplifier sections, it's not 2 sections bridged as you might assume from the advertised specs. Look up the ST TDA7850 datasheet for more realistic specs.Despite the specsmanship, I found this to be a nice alternative to all the Class-D boards out there. I measured about 60W into 4ohms at clip with a 15V supply, impressive for the price. Sound quality is about what you would expect. It's obviously not going in any audiophile systems but would be right at home in desktop A/V applications.

This is a really nice amplifier board, and I've tried a few. This review specifically pertains to the model being listed here, "Class AB Amplifier, DROK 2.1 Channel 80W+80W Stereo and120W Pure Bass 9-18V 4Ω Audio Amplifier Board". Some of the older reviews appear to be talking about a totally different product. This one does not have bluetooth.Honestly the sound quality from this thing is outstanding, it's clean and loud and music sounds fantastic. K have it hooked up to an ATX power supply that I use for my car audio equipment at home, pushing 12v through a fused distribution block. The input is a 3.5mm aux connection to my Galaxy S22 USB-C out, converted through an in-line DAC.Upon initial turn-on, a nice green LED lit up,and there is no noise whatsoever coming out of my 6.5 inch coax speakers. No buzz,no fuzz, no hiss, and no piss. A beautiful thing go experience if you've been let down by some of these mini amplifier boards previously like i have.I also hooked up the subwoofer output to my 10 inch sealed Infinity REF sub at 2 ohms. The balance is unbelievable! There's only one volume control know, so there is no way to modulate the sub or speakers independently, they're just mixed on the board, but the mix is super nice and balanced.Overall I'm super happy with this amp. It aounds better than other amps that cost multiples of what this one cost me ($23). I recommend it without reservation, just make sure you know what you're doing and have the 12v equipment needed for running this in your setup.Kinda wish it had bluetooth but I knew it wouldn't going into it so that's not an actual knock on the product. A good sounding stereo amp however there is virtually no bass audio output and where they get the power rating is beyond me. It seems like 5-10 watt output not the 120 which they claim.

Warm and true audio out of this one!!! The sound is the true nature of an AB class amp! This tops other board amps of this size by far! Most people’s opinion on what classifies a good amp is just how loud it gets or how much bass u can get out of it. With this one I only cared about the tone and fidelity for mixing without any colouring of the sound and it does this perfectly. I did get the 2.1 channel one but haven’t connected any sub. It gets plenty loud enough for anything I’d need it for without distortion. The caps did come banged up on the top and I wasn’t too happy about that but it still works and I even purchased spare caps to swap them if needs be. I highly recommend this one if your priority is pure sound quality

The media could not be loaded. It's not 80x2 +120 sub out... Won't even pull 80 watts off a power supply. Sounds good but far less power than claimed. We've got maybe 20x2 +40 on the sub out. 1/4 of the advertised claim. Can't anybody advertise honestly?

Very well made board but mine was d.o.a. I returned to AmazonI will try another board. The second board arrived and works fine. The gain is 10. 1 volt peak to peak becomes 10 volts p to p. Clipping starts at just over 10 volts into 8 ohms powered by 12 volts for a power rating of 12.5 watts

Sounds decent, has good output but will hum quite a bit if the volume is at max with nothing playing. I gave four stars because that may be a wiring issue on my part, but otherwise it seems decently made, not top of the line obviously but it does exactly as expected and is actually quite a little contender if you add a cooling fan, stays nice and cold that way but without one it gets a bit hot at 75% volume on 4ohm speakers.
