Genki 1 Third Edition: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese 1 Textbook & Workbook Set

Really good textbook, especially in conjunction with the workbook. I am currently self-studying and I find this a fantastic companion for independent learning. Clear descriptions and explanations, vocabulary is also broken down in cohesive chunks, making learning not too overwhelming.

This book is really great! I’ve been learning Japanese for two years now and I found this set a great aid! It’s really up to date and starts off where you’d want at the beginning and makes it a lot easier to learn! The way the book is laid out is really helpful - worth the money

Disappointing. Confusing layout. Lessons almost exclusively about student life so very restricted vocabulary. Extremely expensive for what you get.

Very disappointed. I bought this as a birthday present for my son. Received it but it wasn't the 2 books,only received one book!! Not Good !! Returning it very soon.
