Not Quite As Expected
When I ordered this basket, I didn't expect it to be so "flimsy". It came folded in a bag and at first I couldn't recognize what it was. When I opened it, I saw that it was this basket. But it was very distorted and I knew it wasn't a "hard" basket. I needed it for my bathroom floor to put supplies in, but yet would look nice. I gave it a try instantly and slowly it morphed into shape after I put some items in and it worked fine...looks nice too. But I don't think it would work to "stand alone" with items inside. (Like fruit, etc.) It's simply not sturdy enough. Nice basket for my purpose, though.Update: It's been almost a week and the basket is still misshapen.Boo!!

Great Counter Top Bread Basket!
I have had a non-stop collection of bread bags on my counter forever. I visited my daughter recently and loved that she had her collection all contained in one counter top basket. I did a fair amount of online shopping and found this one which has turned out to be the perfect size. Typically we have about four bags of bread at once. A English muffin bag, a full loaf of bread, hot dog buns and a bag of miscellaneous rolls. This basket fits those items perfectly and it's maintained its shape very well. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
