Kevlar reinforced laces are the perfect replacement laces for all working shoes or boots. Even casual shoes can be more comfortable with these high-quality laces. Kevlar reinforced laces are the perfect replacement laces. The tough design is built right in. The larger diameter allows for an extremely tight tie but will not pinch the instep. The weave design and Kevlar stitching keeps the laces tied better than the older round laces. The Kevlar reinforced laces get strength thru their double design. A strong inner core creates a smooth strength member and is then overbraided with polyester and three strands of Kevlar. The polyester synthetic material combination results in a longlasting shoelace while also providing a satisfying stay tied knot all day...or until you pull it for easy release. These laces are truly high quality “Made in the USA” laces designed and manufactured from USA yarns with USA labor. Available in all colors, these brilliant colors will not fade when washed, nor bleed on your shoes or boots when wet. Put one pair away or carry the extra pair for an absolutely worry-free day while at work or fun. Proper length is of utmost importance. No shoelaces will last long or remain tied for long if stepped on all day. The best way to get the proper length is to remove the old laces and measure your current laces from tip to tip without stretch. A vertical measurement hanging is best.

Dad approved
My dad goes through boots and laces rather quickly due to his job. I got him these and he really likes them. He says that they are more robust than the laces his boots come with.

They have a rough surface
These shoelaces have a rough service that helps them stay tied much better than the original ones that came with my shoes

Always buy these when buying new work boots (Timberland especially)
I always buy an extra set of laces for my husbands work boots when I buy the boots as I know they’re often quick to break. I toss them in his lunch box so he has them at work. I especially buy them when we buy the timberland pro work boots, those laces seem to break within the first week or two, but even though they have crappy laces it’s the best boot (boondock) we’ve found for standing on concrete all day so I just get these to keep the boots going. . These last a long time and don’t break like the bad quality shoe laces that come with boots. If I get to my husbands boot first I lace it with these and put the originals in the lunch box otherwise he just wants to get the boot on and does it reverse and replaces them as they break. I just try to save him the step. Lol. These are strong and great quality and you shouldn’t be sorry you got them. Great price too, much less than in the shoe stores. If you’re buying work boots I suggest you grab a pair of these and lace them up with these instead of the laces that come with the boot or at very least put them some place you’ll be able to remember you left them for when those laces snap.

Underrated Boot upgrade - Why did I wait?
Love these. They're a good thickness for the standard eyelets on my work boots. Really good value at 2pr for the selling price. I've had them on one lighter-use/casual pair for about 4 months, and I finally got fed up with the ratty laces on my beater boots and installed the second pair. Like on the first these improve snugness and ease of adjustability, there's very little stretch, and the grip is excellent, often times I forget to double knot and they generally stay tied. My older boots instantly feel more secure and comfy, and look better too thanks to the red/black color of the laces. They have muted styles like a classic yellow/brown as well, if that's your preference.Durability is great, after four months the first pair show no signs of fraying at the normal spots.I will definitely buy another 2pr set for back-up after a while, but I do expect it to be a while. Knock on wood, they may outlast my current pairs of boots.

A construction worker suggested this product to me...
I bought this as replacement laces for my Doc Marten Boots. I was looking for something tough that I wouldn't have to replace all the time and that could hold up to the friction of my boots as I walk construction job sites 3-4 times a week, climbing ladders, walking though rough terrain, get scratched by construction debris and stacks of building materials, etc... I've had these one my boots for about 6 months and they look as good as new. Maybe a little dirty, but no fraying or stretching in the laces. They lace up much easier on my boots, probably because of less friction due to the kevlar material, so I'm able to get the boots tighter on my feet. Most of all, they are as tough as their name. I bought two sets of these laces, but I have a feeling the boots will wear out before the laces! I bought the red color so that if I should get hurt at a job site, someone would be able to identify by my boot laces, lol.

Great Quality!
My work boots came with really thin, course laces that didn't hold a knot very well and they broke after just a few months. Because of how thin and course the laces were they would dig into your skin making it uncomfortable to tie them tightly. These new laces are awesome. The material is softer and the laces are puffy. This makes it a lot more comfortable to tie and I no longer have to tie my shoes multiple times each day. After a couple of months of use there is no sign of wear and I expect they will last years. The package cones with 2 pair of laces so I should be able to wear out multiple pairs of boots before I need more laces .
