Really good toaster nice and compact.

I wanted a new toaster that actually fits full slices of tiger bread and this toaster does so well. I'd say it fits about 95 percent of a slice of tiger bread, depends on the slice really.In terms of actually toasting the bread I'd recommend turning the heat knob to about halfway if you're using thicker slices, even on normal bread I would say don't have it on full power.One aspect I'm not keen on is the lever mechanism, there's been a few times where it just hasn't stayed down, the toaster does require the power to be on for it to lock the bread in place but it's been fine for the most part.Overall this is a decent toaster, easy to use and the heat level knob makes for easy toasting of whatever is appropriate for your type of bread.

Easy clean casing. The clearest dials I have ever had on a toaster. Good sized slot. All in all very pleased with this purchase

Finally, after trying and returning four other brands, this is a toaster that just makes good toast. It's not a complicated request but it would have been simpler to find a DIY brain surgery robot. Two slices of perfect toast, every morning, without having to watch it, turn it, scrape it, adjust dials or catch the completed items as they fly across the kitchen. Breakfast made, pills taken, happy customer. Highly recommended as is the seller. Thank you.

After 15 years, my old toaster was finally, toast. I order this Morphy Richards one because it's a reputable brand name, and I really liked that it wasn't a boring silver, but a cool cream-colour.I got it, and the first thing I had to do was get a small extention lead as the lead on the toast is insanely short.Then.. I discovered that, like my old cheepo one, there was no function to extend the bread up higher so you could grab toasted crumpets or other smaller things. This, in spite of the fact that it is much larger than I would have expected it to be.It's a bare bones basic toaster with no features. And it does indeed toast. the sides stay cool, the top gets very very hot, so when you're trying to grab your small crumpets, you will likely burn yourself. The only way to get small-bread-items out is to use the lever to try and catapult them out and grab them in mid-air .

Really solid, well-performing toaster that manages everything from sourdough breads and sliced bagels to traditional loaves of bread.Aside from the defrost setting there aren't any other features - that said from experience that's when faults tend to creep in or the performance for standard toasting starts to dwindle.Was expecting it to be more of a stop gap on the way to buying another toaster to replace the one from John Lewis that had all the bells and whistles but wasn't very good at any particular setting and gave up the toast - I mean ghost...or do I?Anyways, will be keeping this one as it's doing a good job and doesn't look really ugly compared to the others I was looking at before buying.Recommended :-)
