STREAMLIGHT14975 Sidewinder Boot Military Light with 2 AA Alkaline Batteries, Coyote

Drena las baterías que le instalé, no dura ni un dia APAGADA LA LAMPARA. intenté ponerle una bateria 14500 y la descompuse. existen otras lamparas de 12 dlls que puede uno usar tanto las baterias AA como la 14500 pero no tienen la forma que esta lampara tiene que la veo conveniente cuando está en una gorra. Pensé que tendría mejor calidad, no es nada barata la marca como para que no tenga protección o bien no pueda soportar la bateria 14500. No la recomiendo, por eso no voy a devolverla por ser mi error, solo a tirar la lámpara.

Cumple exactamente lo que quiero, práctico airsoft y al tener está luz el filtro rojo me funciona para avisar cuando me han eliminado además queda exactamente en mi plate carrier y apuntando para abajo queda en una posición donde me alumbra el suelo y puedo ir caminando sin temor a dar un paso en falso

Pros:-The 185 degree head rotation is great and super useful.-The built in red filter is genius.-Great feel and simple to use.-Good materials-Great design for freestanding or staying put on a wide variety of surfaces.Cons:-Considering the advances LED flashlights and battery technology have made in the last decade, this light should either have a lot more capability, or be half the cost. My $30 USB rechargeable penlight from the same manufacturer is just as bright and lasts just as long, but is a fraction of the size.-I actually like the tough plastic material, however mine arrived with a crack in the rotating head. It doesn't seem to affect normal function, but it's certainly no longer waterproof and doesn't say much for future resilience.-You have to long press to switch brightness. About 3 seconds, which is about 2 seconds too long. Most other flashlights are far more responsive.-I love the built in red filter, it's a big reason that I purchased the light, but it also drastically reduces the light output. At full power (55 lumen) with the filter on it's comparable to a 10 lumen red LED. On low it's practically a red moonlight mode. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to be aware of.-Too bulky for normal EDC, but still good for general home use.

This is a great light. Lumen output might be low but the Candela output is great which is much better than some lights with higher lumen output that I use.My gripe is the activation of the HIGH mode. It takes around 3 seconds or so to go to HIGH from Low.UPDATE:Fell off the side of the bed and the "latch" that holds the flashlight head broke.NOT a "High-impact super-tough polymer body offers exceptional durability" as advertised.

Like Streamlight but since transferring production of a lot of their flashlights overseas the quality is questionable. I ordered three of these Boot flashlights and all three we’re either split or cracked on the head of the light where they were pressed on to the bottom half of the light. Right at the swivel. Sorry not going for a forth.
